AFG Heating and Cooling

John and Rafi are Probably the most knowledgeable workers in the business. Ive used AFG for my heating and cooling for years.I can always trust them to give me the right advice, always a good experience.

After growing frustrated with another HVAC company I used to deal with, I took to Homestars to find a better HVAC contractor to look at my A/C unit that was not calling much in the middle of the season's first heat wave. I came across AFG and called them up. They were quick to come over and assess our situation. In the end I needed to replace my A/C unit but the quote was much cheaper than my previous company so I went with them. A couple of days later, they came back and installed the new unit in less than a couple of hours. Courteous, cheaper and fast service, I can't complain.

Rafi called prior to arriving, was on time and more importantly on budget. As a homeowner in my present home for 15 years, Rafi was the first repair man to walk me through his inspection step-by-step tell me what he was doing, why he was doing it and what as a homeowner I should be looking for. He taught me the importance of changing the humidifier filter as well as the furnace filter regularly to prolong the life of the unit & to breath the cleanest air possible. He went beyond customer service to bring me new filters plus a spare for each. After he installed the new air conditioner and thermostat, together we did a full inspection to see his work. I highly recommend AFG heating and cooling.

Foci and Hamid worked very hard to ensure the split system A/C was installed properly. We were pleased with their workmanship.

Rafi from AFG was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. After necessary tests, he was honest that no further work was needed although another gas company gave me an expensive quote and a list of work items that "must" be done. He was further helpful when I reached out over the phone with more questions. Highly recommended and I am a very happy customer.

A few months ago I called Rafi and asked for a quote for a new furnace and a/c unit. I used AFG in the past always with amazing results. This time as well, Rafi showed up immediately, provides expert advice, offered the best quote. Installation was immediate and smooth. He took ownership of the project and made sure everything was done as agreed. Fast forward a few months, the evening of the worst snowstorm in Toronto the furnace stops working. Called Rafi at 8pm, and in 40' he was at my place. Diagnosed the issue, found a temporary solution and 2 days later came back and replaced the defective switch. I doubt that one could find more professional, honest and reliable service. Highly recommended.

We didn't know what was wrong with our boiler... we had another person replace the auto fill valve, but the system pressure was still really high.
When Raffi came over, the amount of insight he provided on what the potential problems are and the way he explained what needs to be done to fix it was extremely helpful and gave me a lot of confidence in his experience.
The service provided was definitely valuable, and I don't anticipate calling any other contractor for my boiler maintenance.
