AFG Heating and Cooling

We called Raffi at AFG based on positive reviews on Homestars, to replace an ageing furnace and air conditioning unit at our house. Raffi showed up the next day and went through our options with us. His team showed up a few days later and installed the new equipment quickly and efficiently, a few days before Christmas. They left nothing behind and were very professional. Everything was perfect with the furnace, but when the heat of the summer rolled around we found that the fan was stuck on :low" and the house was not cooling properly. I called Raffi and he showed up that evening to look it over, finding a problem with the way the manufacturer had set up the control board - apparently there was a jumper required that was not documented in the manufacturer's installation guide. After a quick call to tech support, he fixed it and we were good to go. It's worth noting that this all happened at 10:00 PM after he'd already worked 14 hours during a heat wave. Try to find service like that somewhere else! Highly recommended.

I contacted AFG after reading several reviews. I just needed my A/C unit tuned up. Rafi did the work, no problems, and explained what I needed to know. I will contact him again in the fall for my maintenance on my furnace.

From start to finish very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Did not try to sell me a new unit even though it may be time for one soon. Rafi diagnosed problem quickly and replaced thermostat and was good to go. Will
definitely call them for future hvac needs. Very flexible hours as well which is a huge plus.

Rafi from AFG performed maintenance on my ductless A/C today and I was impressed with the service. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and most importantly was able to get my A/C running well. Booking was easy and they were able to fit me in next-day, even in this mini heatwave. Rafi came over to perform some maintenance on my furnace. He was very thorough and explained exactly what he was doing every step of the way.

He was obviously very knowledgeable and I was very confident that all necessary steps were taken to ensure that my furnace would continue to function properly.

Woke up in the middle of the night to a loud noise and burning smell. Called AFG early in the morning and Fasi was over within an hour. He diagnosed the problem to be the blower motor and suggested replacement of the furnace vs repair due to age, efficiency, safety and reliability. We processed with the install and it was done the same day. We're extremely happy with the job they've done, and certainly sleep better at night knowing we're safe. AFG is simply the best and they're a wonderful team. Thank you for everything.

I bought a humidifier and need a professional to install. Initially I searched a lot on Homestars and saw a pure "10" with the AFG Heating and Cooling. When I called Rafi, he nicely talked about the installation. From his knowledgeable answer, I set to use this agent.

Fasi, a technician of the agent, came to install the humidifier in my home. He was excellent in his skill: when he checked what I bought, he immediately recognized that the humidifier needs a hardware package. Since it was my first time to install a humidifier, and did not know what I should have to buy. For this, Fasi drove a while to buy a set of package for installation of the humidifier. In addition, Fasi was nice and professional to install my humidifier and told me about the maintains. Now the humidifier works greatly and my house is never dry again. I will definitely use his company again!

Fasi was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions patiently. He was very accommodating with my schedule. He was upfront about the cost of labour vs part (when another company who quoted on this work was not.) I will definitely be using his company again!

Called with a non-urgent problem. Rafi called me right back and made an appointment for the next day. He checked everything and explained it all as he went. Furnace was running properly in no time! Very pleased.

Rafi was extremely thorough. He removed, cleaned, tested and adjusted parts. He showed me what shape they were in and drained the muck from a tube.
He has a very nice, pleasant way. (As an aside I asked if he knew a type of tradesmen that I needed and he called later to ask if he could pass along my number to one he knew.)
I was very impressed with his work and will definitely call them again.
