Sealing Stamped Concrete, concrete and paving stone's around pool
Initially I was very impressed at the professionalism and promptness in providing a quote and booking the job. The work in the back yard around the pool and the papers was amazing. However upon close inspection of the stamped concrete there was an issue. The spray on sealant pooled in low spots and high spots had no coverage. Many bare patches of concrete. After much complaining the company sent a service tech out to rectify the problem. I found out after that meant multiple spray overs without drying time in between. The pooling and coverage issues remain. Furthermore it is way to slippery to walk on. This company has refused to deal with this issue. In sum, for plain concrete, asphalt and paving stone, excellent work! DO NOT USE FOR STAMP DECORATIVE CONCRETE.

It is truly unfortunate that this client cannot tell the entire story so allow me to fill in the gaps she left.
First and foremost people should review the other reviews below on our stamped concrete sealing. The reviews are excellent and the surface is not slippery.
Now for the gaps in the review... This client rents the house out and does not live there. Our tech went and did a very throughout cleaning of the concrete and interlock. We applied two coats of sealer which we call "tru-Color Enhanced". This sealer amplifies the color of stone or concrete but does not create that glassy shine. This is the sealer the client chose. She was offered a high gloss product but she opted for the tru-color enhanced.
After two coats were applied she is correct there was some bare patches in the concrete. I was surprised because the particular tech that serviced her property gets rave reviews from virtually every client they service. There was a slight delay in rescheduling service because we were already scheduled on other client properties and we did not want to cancel the other clients and inconvenience them so we told this client that we would have to schedule her back in on our first available opening.
When our tech arrived we did see the bare patches. We applied another coat and instantly the sealer disappeared only on this patches. Our client's tenant was present and confirmed there must be something wrong with the concrete as we have never seen anything like this before.
The client that wrote this negative review insisted we continue to apply coats until the patches were gone. We warned her that the more coats we apply the more slippery it will get. She still insisted on taking that chance so we went ahead and did what she wanted at a cost that came out of our pocket not her's.
Fast forward to only a week ago and her tenant contacted us and asked how does she make it less slippery. I informed her of her landlord's decision and the only way would be to strip the sealer down.
This client then contacted us, during a snow storm, and insisted that we send someone to strip the concrete and reapply more sealer. I politely informed her that she was warned this could happen and she insisted on us proceeding. I also informed her that it is impossible to strip the concrete and seal it again now because it is WINTER and encouraged her to take notice of the snow on her driveway. She then persisted that we must do something about it now and not wait until spring and I again politely informed her that our staff cannot operate power washers in the winter in -10c weather. I also informed her that all our sealer suppliers are CLOSED for the winter and we cannot access product. Not even the stripping agents!
Now she posts this negative review which is quite frankly pathetic. She got exactly what she wanted even though we advised against it and now she is mad because we cannot change it for her in the WINTER.
I am confident that our other viewers on Homestars will get a good laugh at the demands this client tried to place on us…. IN THE WINTER….
