Just wanted to comment on the service I received this morning from HomeSeal. Being in trades myself I was pleasantly surprised at the equipment they use. Technician was very informative and helpful by suggesting ways to prolong my clean. I have referred them to family which says it all. Thanks again.

Just wanted to thank HomeSeal for a fabulous clean at my home in Mississauga. They showed me video of my ducts before and after to ensure my ducts were done properly. Will defiantly use their service again.

First of all, when is a professional service provided without a receipt given? I was told that it would be emailed to me....going on two months now. I was sent a special promotion from Groupon for duct and furnace cleaning, and took advantage of what I thought was a good deal, I was totally wrong. The "free video" of the procedure, a before and after which was promised was not mentioned until I had asked about it, and then I was told that since I stepped out to the bank, a 4 minute trip in total which I had mentioned to the tech rep, missed the video. if there ever was sub-standard service, it's this company, the furnace wasn't cleaned, and dust fragments were left all over the house. Don't waste your time or money on this company's service. The $79.00 special soon became more than $100.00, they charged 13% HST without providing a receipt plus additional costs. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't even take their service free of charge, thanks for nothing Daniel!

Stay away from this fraudster who collect money and failed to provide invoice, worst case even he collect money for taxes and never give receipts to people. Shows up late, shows fake videos. People could find many good deals out there in market, better stay away from HomeSealed for your own good.

I found Homeseal off Kijiji and asked them to come and blow out my dryer vent as the dryer wasn't drying the clothes as it was blocked. We discussed that they could blow it or clean it out via the attic. They came the next day as scheduled and put in tool into the foil tube that allows the dryer to vent. They cut a hole in it, why not take it off you ask, and then taped it back up.

I paid and they left promptly after assuring me that they would email me the invoice the next day.

The dryer didn't dry the clothes any better, and the tape blew off and the lint blew through my house (top level dryer) and then the clothes started to dry.

A couple of issues: we talked about them going into the attic to clear the blockage, once there they assured me that blowing it would be the best way. I didn't get a copy of my invoice. I called a couple times the first week. Daily the second week. The third week I put in requests daily via the web site, called almost daily and then called 5 times in a rows. During this, I spoke to them a couple of times and they explained, as others here have said, it's their busiest season and I didn't get the invoice. I needed the invoice to get compensated for the work done, I had to pretty much stalk them to get it.

My advise, stay clear. I paid for a service that didn't fix the issue and then couldn't get the invoice. I'm guessing they likely do not remit the taxes so they don't give invoices.

Daniel is not a man of his word. Bought voucher $79. for 10 vents, paid addl $93. for addl vents & dryer vents (which were not done) No receipt & b4 & after pics. as promised. He doesn't even reply to email.

I got our duct cleaning done from Daniel. He and his employee seemed very professional. I am surprised and was a bit scared after reading the number of negative reviews here. However, thankfully everything went well for me. They arrived on time, professionally cut the missing hole in the vent, put the suction hose on that and then used pressure into the vents. Finally, they closed the holes with a metallic sheet, screwed it and then closed it with a duct tape.
I'd recommend you stay on top of them when they perform the job to make sure they don't miss anything. After all you are spending money, so staying watchful for a couple of hours doesn't hurt.

Stay away from this company. I purchased a voucher from Buytopia for duct cleaning services. I've tried to contact them the past 3 weeks and they do not answer phone calls or answer e-mails.

I've found other vendors with similar prices for more. I'd definitely go with someone local.

In short, I got Daniel to do two properties for me. At one property, they forgot to do the dryer vent, which is still not done. At the other property, after completing the duct cleaning, the hole that was cut out to attach the vacuum was not sealed up properly. The tape used to attach the plate and seal the hole was of low quality. The area was not cleaned out to seal the hole afterwards, which is probably why the tape didn't stick and the plate fell. And most importantly, no rivets were used to re-attach the plate to seal the hole. Never got video confirmation of the ducts that were cleaned. When I asked for the receipt, Daniel said he will email them to me. Never did. Followed up via text messages and voicemails, still nothing. He even replied to a text message saying that he will send it to me. Everytime I called him to inquire about when he would be coming to clean out the dryer vent that they left behind, I got the same excuse - "This is the busiest time of the year for us, will get to it asap etc. etc." Save yourself the hassle, and go with someone else. Don't waste your time with HomeSeal.

I'll have to agree with the other reviews. They took my deposit and now won't return my calls. Stay away from this company, hire a reputable company from this site and do your homework before hiring a company
