I recently purchased a house with a metal roof and the home inspector recommended that I have the roof looked into by a roofing company as he noticed some things from the attic that I should be concerned about. I brought in the roofing company that I normally worked and they indicated that the fasteners (specifically the gaskets) are failing. Once I purchased the house, I interviewed a few roofing company. Crucial roofing is one of only 3 companies that recommended to me that I should only replace the fasteners (no need to replace the entire roof). Greg said that my 26 year old metal roof has a lot of life left on it and that a section of my roof (torched on) is still good for a few more years. No point in replacing the roof at this time. The other roofing companies were way off by recommending that I replace the entire roof now. After receiving quotes from the 3 companies, I went with Crucial Roofing. One of the reason is that, Greg was responsive to my questions prior to the work being done. Unlike the other two companies whom I had to call a few times to get an answer. He also managed to address my concern about my wooden fascia board by having his metal sheet take care of it (covering them with metal). Now there's no need for me to paint them every other year and it looks great. Greg and his team re-fastened my roof in one day (done by mid afternoon and they started around 8 am). He and his team took the time to clean any debris near where the water drains to my downspout. I asked him to clean the metal caps as well as my skylight and Greg did so without hesitation. Greg also noticed and took a picture of a broken tile roof that has clearly shifted off of my neighbours roof. Needless to say my neighbour was very appreciative and hopefully will call Crucial for the repair. Overall I'm quite happy with the work that was completed by Crucial roofing. I think Greg and his team value a long term relationship with each of their customers they deal with by being sincere up front, perform quality work and provide them at a fair price. Crucial roofing is now my "go to" roofing company.

I am so happy to have finally found a contractor (of any sort) who is honest, delivers what he promises and takes pride in his work. Greg and his team at Crucial Roof are awesome and did my roof in one day (albeit, a small roof but still!). When I first experienced problems with a leak last fall I called several "big" roofing companies and the ONLY one who called me back -- and right away too -- was Greg. Excellent work and my new roof is gorgeous and more importantly, properly done! Thank you Greg and your awesome team. I would refer you to anyone, anytime!

Greg was very knowledgeable on the tile roof; he came by in a short notice on a rainy day to do the repair; he took pictures before and after the repair work; no more leak on our roof now

They did a number of jobs for us and Greg is awesome. If there are ever any leaks he follows up with a service calls quickly (around two days). He’s done everything for us from homes, to commercial properties and skylights.

I think I found them online and I received several estimates from other companies but what made me choose Crucial was that I hit it off with Greg and he answered all of my questions excellently. They did some roofing for my Mother in law and a section of something else for me as well. They did an outstanding job.

I was waiting to give these guys a review until after it rained so I could see how the work really was. The rain has come and there are no leaks. Crucial did the work they said they were going to do and so far the work has held up. I didn't do a lot of shopping around so I can't really comment on price but the work was not cheap- it's done and seems fine so far so I'm happy.

Crucial Roof Services was very professional in the way they did their work and in the way they handled the project.

Quote process: Greg had come in person to look at the work that needed to be done. He took a look at each and every spot on my gutters that was leaking and accessed the amount of work that would need to be done based on a worst case scenario. He explained my options for the amount of repair i'd like him to do. The quote was broken down with a picture attached to each issue area and an explaination of what needed to be done.

After the work had started, if it turns out that an area was not as bad as initially thought, he removed items from the final invoice as he did not need to do it.

The build: The build went very smoothly and the work was done in a timely and professional manor. the work area was cleaned and there was constant e-mail/phone communication to let me know the status of the project.

Some of the leaking areas caused some major rotting on the facia boards around the gutters and those were also fixed and changed out as well.

Project end: I was very happy with the work and the project was closed out with no real issue. Greg had also gave me some recommendations on how i could maintain the gutters, audit the work he had done and repaint some areas.
