We uncovered a wet basement in the summer and contacted Colm who had done work for us previosuly. Colm was able to assess that the issue quickly and identified that the problem was from excessive ground water and the floor being poured below the footings. After consulting with us about our options and some of the costs we may encounter , we did not hesitate to get a second quote and went with Colm's approach which was the most straight forward, cost effective option to address and resolve the issue with least mount of work. Colm's team were efficient and had the wall prepped and ready and the sump pump installed in the first day. The weeping tile the waterproofing barrier were completed the following day with the job done in 2 days. The basement is now noticeably not as damp and the air quality has also improved.
