I highly recommend hiring Vito as your home inspector. He was able to do the inspection with short notice, was very understanding when we needed to change the date, and was extremely thorough during the inspection. Vito was also able to send us a detailed report by the end of the day, which not only included the issues he noticed and photo diagrams illustrating his findings, but also his recommendations of how to fix the problems.

Vito was able to book us for a home inspection with a two days notice. He was there in time, conducted a careful inspection (infrared camera inspection included) and delivered the report the same evening. Very professional, answered our follow-up questions too.

We hired Vito to do a home inspection for our 3-story house. We really appreciated his great work, especially that he climbed to the 3-level high roof to check the condition of it as soon as he saw the ladder could be put on the second floor balcony. (most of time, it could be too dangerous to climb 3 levels and check the outside condition of the roof). Vito answered all our questions professionally and in detail. Even the final report is quite comprehensive and submitted by him at same day. I just bought a house in Oakville and wanted to find an inspector on my own that was not affiliated with a real estate agent so that there would not be a vested interest in saying everything is great in the house.

After much online research, I debated between using Holmes Inspection Services (because I see Mike Holmes on tv and thought highly of him) and Vito from DSM Property Services because he had so many reviews and such a high rating on homestars. After looking at different reviews and talking with Vito, who also has a construction background, I decided to use Vito. It was a great decision!
He was on time, easy to speak with, gave me all the time I wanted/needed to discuss anything and ask questions, produced an excellent online report the same day with great photos and arrows to describe what he was talking about.

I found Vito to be very knowledgeable, and professional and plan to use him for a pre-inspection if or when I move from the place that I'm buying now.
