During our renovation there was constant communication, updates and regular walk throughs and discussions about upcoming work to keep us well informed. Andy and his trades were very profession and respectful, including with how they managed relationships with neighbours.

Lia’s design contribution was also extremely helpful by providing us with ideas and helping us choose finishes along the way. My husband and I have different style ideas and many times Lia was able to give us solutions which combined the two.

We expected this to be a very stressful period in our lives but in reality we really enjoyed the process and now have a beautiful home for our family to grow into.

We did a 2 story extension, updated our kitchen, replaced our stairs & floors (along with other items) and couldn't have been happier with the renovation process and the end result. Andy and his trades are very considerate and extraordinarily skilled in their trades which helped us move the project forward smoothly and able tackle any unforeseen 'snags' confidently and efficiently.

The was regular communication during the process and they work tirelessly to meet timelines without sacrificing quality. What is most refreshing about Andy and his team is their honesty, everything is on the table from the start which provided us with advance knowledge to help us plan and prioritize our funds and work to be done.

Andy gave us confidence from our very first meeting. Hi knowledge and experience of homes the age and style of our was evident from the start. His follow up was prompt and he was eager to bring us to other homes they have done. The trades people that Andy deals with were all exlempary. Polite, professional and skilled. This was our first time buying a home and renovating and all the horror stories we had heard/ read made us nervous. We called in 5 contractors to take a look and provide us a quote. Right from get go Andy made it clear he wanted to partner with us to make our vision come to life. He took us to see a few houses he had renovated, it gave us an insight into the kind of work he would deliver and it gave him an understanding of what we were looking for. We also had a really short window of time within which we wanted this extensive renovation done. Andy kept us on time and on budget, he was also very communicative, available to address our concerns and always offered solutions and alternatives when something went off course. I have hired Andy twice in the past four years - I worked with him when I was getting ready to open my business and needed a complete renovation to convert a 9000 square foot industrial space into a modern, open, shared office space - Andy was the GC and was a real pleasure to work with - he had great relationships with the trades, effectively managed all aspects of the project - including the unexpected problems that arise when working with old industrial buildings. This year I expanded my business to add an additional 1000 square feet converting it to six open, airy offices. There was no question Andy was who I wanted to work with on the expansion and once again he did a great job.

A fantastic design/build service team! I would highly recommend Andy to anyone planning a renovation. Meticulous workmanship in all trades involved: plumbing, tiling, electrical, and painting. Everyone on the team was pleasant, tidy, and very respectful of being in our home. Daily phone calls from Andy with updates on what to expect the next day managed our expectations through the entire project. Thrilled with the end results!

My husband and I purchased a small bungalow with the intention to completely gut and make additions to create our new custom home. We needed to keep certain foundation walls to get our permit, but essentially the finished product was to be a completely new build. After receiving various quotes that ranged from way too low to way too high, we found our perfect match with Andy from Stratas Design Build. Andy had worked on various homes in the area so we had a certain comfort level knowing that he was well respected and trusted in our neighbourhood. His crew was great, his site manager was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our budget for the most part was on target, but we did add a few things that were out of the scope of work , such as heated floors in the kitchen and master en suite, and a new custom door. We love our home and we're happy Stratas Design Build were there to walk us through every step of the way.
