Our front loader machine front door would not unlock and had new, clothing inside. I called Whirlpool customer service and they informed me it would be 7-8 days. This of course is unacceptable for a family, estimates were also ridiculous. I asked who else I could call, she said a local repair man. I asked what was the difference, she said "nothing, they are ALL certified." I phoned during the holidays and Dragan came by 10:00pm (as he promised). My washer is working just fine with a simple lock replacement and diagnostics run exactly according to my manual. I could have been told...it was $250 for a pump, or a drain....or worse $500.00 for a control board. My mother in law was told that a couple months ago by whirlpool. That is the cost of a new appliance...how convenient. HIGHLY recommend!!
