Crown Windows & Doors

Had the patio door changed recently. The price was reasonable. The technician carried out the work efficiently, and explained clearly how it worked. We are extremely satisfied with the product and certainly will recommend this company to our friends.

Highly recommended. Fair price. I just had Crown Windows & Doors to install a porch enclosure last weekend.

I did some research before choosing Crown. When I called Crown, Eric said he would have someone to come to do a free estimate, but I haven’t heard anything back for a week...I followed up with him, and he came over immediately himself to do the estimation.

He advised me to do 2 panels at the sides of the door, instead of just installing fixed glasses. Eric explained to me fresh air could come into the porch by installing panels, otherwise, it would be very hot inside the porch. I showed him the porch enclosure done in my neighbourhood, and he explained to me what is good and bad. He is nice and patient.

Andy is the person who installed the porch enclosure for me. I highly recommend the work he did. He is very nice, thoughtful, detailed and skillful. Since I am not familiar with the work, he would answer all my questions patiently. My porch has limitation to install a regular enclosure, and I was worried about the look and if it is practical.

However, Andy would think the best way that can be done and optimize the space for me. And he ensured me that it would look great after it is done!

Also, the height of my porch is slightly off each side, he is very skillful and detailed to make sure there is no gap in between the connection. It looks very nice and is very sturdy. To be honest, I am a pretty picky person, but I do not notice any imperfection and I am satisfied with the work that Andy has done.

Andy would explain to me in detail how to operate it, and what I need to care about. He did not rush to finish the work and go. He would rather make sure he did a perfect job and make sure everything is alright. He does not only care about the look of the product, but also care about if it is practical.

So far, I am very satisfied my porch enclosure done by Crown and no regret . Highly recommended.

I called them on Monday morning and within the same day, they sent the salesperson onsite for the quote. I confirmed to them at spot with the reasonable price.
The installer did a good job which removed the old doors but also cleanup the dust. The installation completed in quick and professional way which did not interrupt my work at home.

Pick a contractor

We called up a few contractors to give us quotes at the end of March. He came into our house well prepared. He showed us a window sample and a catalog of different door styles. My wife and I asked lots of questions about how his team would perform the work. Eric patiently explained the procedures. We then decided to choose his company for our windows and front door replacement on March 25th. We requested to have the replacement done before July. He honestly told us that he might not be able to make it during the pandemic situation. He promised us that he would try his best. We completely understood that. He did deliver everything on June 15th.

A day before the replacement

On June 14th, one of his staff called us to schedule a time. She told us lots of details and things that we had to be aware. She also reminded us to call the alarm company to make an appointment to hook up our alarm wiring again. (N.B: I did call my alarm company to put my alarm system to test mode during replacement period and made an appointment to have the alarm company to hook up all the wires for us again. The process was so smooth that there was not a single hassle to us.) This type of service was small but critical to the customers.

Windows and door replacement day

Two gentlemen arrived at 8ish am on June 15th. They started working until like 4ish pm. They efficiently and effectively shared their workload. One of them worked on the ground floor while another one was working on the 1st floor. There was not much idle time except their minimum break time. Everything was done properly. We could tell that they were very professional in windows and doors replacement. They even mopped our floors after they completed their work! The workmanship was very neat. Our neighbor kept coming to look at our front door after they left!
(N.B.: we did not expect them to come in with any floor covering mats or cloths. So, we covered the 1st floor ourselves. They did come in with cloths to cover small areas right underneath each window. That was a surprised for us!)

All in all, we greatly appreciated the work from Crown Windows and Doors. We had an outstanding experience with Eric and his team. Their price was not the cheapest. However, their service, attitude, workmanship and detail-orientated working style made up what we paid for. We do not have any single hesitation to recommend them to our friends and neighbors.
(N.B.: One of the window screen was not at the right size. They brought it back to us on June 18th without us reminding them.)

We replaced 27 windows and our sliding door a few years ago and were very pleased with the results. So when it came time to replace our front doors and side door, we didn't hesitate to call Eric and the team at Crown Windows and Doors. The workmanship of Andy the installer is second to none. Amazing attention for detail and works late into the evening to finish the job. Highly recommend Crown Windows! John our account rep is also top notch! They did all the windows and doors of our house a few years ago.

I found this company from newspapers and read HomeStars review. I dealt with Eric to get a quote back in Sep 2020. Eric is a very customer oriented salesman and really helpful. In fact, both Eric and John working in this company are very helpful. They are very quick in responding to customers' needs. The windows installation was completed in March 2021 due to pandemic delay. I do find the new windows look very nice and I believe they have done a good job.
