We found Tarek's company based on the reviews from this site. Tarek installed a cast iron gate as well as an iron window well for security in our back yard. His work was exemplary and we received exactly what we had asked for. Tarek and his team were always prompt in reacting to our requests, timely in terms of meeting all deadlines, and provided excellent quality work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tarek and his company to others.

We hired Tarek to install metal railings on our new porch. I would highly recommend him and his team to do this work. He was exceptionally pleasant to deal with, gave a very competitive price, and we are very satisfied with the finished product. I love my new outdoor stair railing. I didn't want to spend much money on this as it was for insurance purposes. Tarek and his team were respectful of my needs for this (very) small job, and really exceeded expectations. The railing is so much prettier than I expected for such a fair price. I was also pleasantly surprised that Tarek worked outdoors in the winter. He even helped shovel my back yard so his team could get access to the work area! We needed new porch railings after overlaying our porch with new stone since the original railings would not fit anymore. Not knowing where to go, a good friend of ours recommended Tarek (Smith Metal Works). Seeing his excellent rating on HomeStars, we decided to give him a try. He was great at explaining the different options and gave us very fair pricing on "one of a kind" custom iron railings that really make our house stand out. We were very impressed with the workmanship and the job was done within the promised timeframe. I would highly recommend him for any railing project.

We are extremely happy about the wrought iron railings that Tarek and his team made for our deck! He completed the railings quickly and they came out beautifully! The workmanship is great and he gave us exactly what we asked for.
From beginning to end Tarek was courteous and easy to work with. For example, he took the time to explain things and make sure I was satisfied. Then at the fitting when I asked for modifications to the handrail, he came back for the installation with the handrail just the way I'd imagined it to be done. Also, after the installation I noticed something didn't look right so I called him up. Tarek and his team came back the same day to fix it.
On top of it all he's a real honest guy - when I forgot that the price was cheaper than the original quote, he corrected me and gave me back the amount I had overpaid!

From the first phone call to the install Tarek and Andrew were Extremely Exceptional, and knowledgeable. It was an amazing flawless experience. Tarek is exactly the kind of contractor you want to be dealing with. He was on time, professional and returned calls. What's more, he is passionate about what he does and this clearly comes through in his work. He is more than a contractor, he is a craftsman who takes pride in what he creates. I had him make two custom wrought iron gates for my house and they turned out absolutely beautiful. I feel I got excellent value for my money because Tarek came out with two other assistants on two separate occasions to first test fit the gates and then do a final install.
