CityBoxes - Rental Moving Boxes

Moving a lifetime of stuff after 16 years was more than stressful - and I didn't know where to begin. Thankfully, my movers (Cargo Cabbie) recommended City Boxes and I simply couldn't be happier with the result. From my first conversation with the delightful Andrew Applebaum, through the delivery of my 30 boxes and 3 wardrobes (precisely the number I needed) to their eventual pick-up, Andrew was a professional, calm and reassuring presence. I'm not sure how good a client I was ( I had to keep my boxes longer than I originally planned and kept changing the pick up date) but I can tell you what kind of a business owner Andrew is: the best. Helpful, kind, funny, generous and 100% reliable.

Rented 20 boxes + wardrobe box + dollie for 2 weeks to move 1bdrm into townhouse. I have moved a lot and I will never go back to cardboard boxes. No more taping boxes & break them down after nor do you have loads of garbage to deal with after. I have a lot of "stuff" and was concerned it wouldnt all fit but it did with extra room to spare. Moving companies love these boxes and it saves time moving -therefore saves you $! Completed moving in a record 2hr time.

Rented 30 boxes (+ 2 wardrobe boxes and one dollie) for 2 weeks, for moving between two 1-bedroom apartments. Boxes were dropped off and picked up at the apartments. The vendor did a very good job of confirming the order, and arranging delivery and pickup. He gave friendly, helpful service. Renting the boxes made the move much easier for me and the movers. Large, stackable, durable, convenient to move with dollie. (Something to watch out for: filling the boxes until they're almost too heavy to lift.) Didn't have to buy or scrounge cardboard boxes. (Looking back, going with 40 boxes would have been easier, for only slightly more money.)
I don't want to move again for a long time, but I would definitely include this service in any future planning.

We moved out of our condo into our new place just before the holidays. We contacted Andrew fairly last minute and he was not only able to accommodate our needs/timing but he was also very friendly and professional. In addition, due to the holidays, we were out of town on the day we were supposed to 'return' the boxes. Andrew allowed us to extend it by a few days with absolutely no fuss. Was looking for an alternative to flimsy cardboard boxes and found these!! My mover loved them, as did I!! The sizes were absolutely perfect. The approximated no. Of boxes recommended for my apartment size was exact. I had only one extra for those annoying little things you just can't get rid of and want to pack. Andrew was more than accommodating with pick up dates for the boxes. Value for the money- trust me, moving stress is reduced with these. Thanks so much Andrew!!

I originally received an advertisement from Cityboxes.ca and decided to call. Andrew, the owner was very nice and helpful and took the time to explain everything to me through email and how it woudl work. I ordered the boxes online. He delivered them to my door with full explanation and and picked it up in a week at the new location. The service was amazing and I would definitely both recommend cityboxes AND use them again if I had to. It was a very reasonable price and made my move much easier.

Very happy and impressed with the service. I ordered 20 boxes, a dolly and purchased bubble wrap. By ordering these boxes, I saved a TON of time packing and my movers were more efficient!

Andrew provided excellent personalized service. He was very responsive to emails and accommodating of our move schedule. When our movers cancelled last minute he was helpful in providing recommendations for a replacement. Highly recommended.

Awesome Idea..... the eco friendly boxes get delivered to your door. They are the perfect size and can be securely sealed
and labeled . Way better than cardboard bankers boxes that you have to buy, don't hold much..... and then what do you do with them? A bonus is these boxes get picked up within a week, so you are forced to unpack and organize your place. I actually have bankers boxes from 10 years ago, that I still haven't unpacked!
The owner Andrew is a pleasure to deal with, and was extremely accommodating with his delivery and pick-up schedules. He extended me an extra few days so I had time to put up some shelves, before I emptied my last few boxes. I definitely recommend this service. BTW do yourself a favour and book the dolly. It's only $5. but makes everything easier to move around while packing/unpacking.
