Windows By Installer

We can't recommend these guys enough! Considering the job scope we had, we certainly shopped around to make sure we were getting a fair price and also had a good feeling about the contractor. Oleg from windows by installer was awesome and walked us through the whole process. Two things really stood out to me that were important. First, Oleg is always available via text, email, or phone. I never ran into a situation where I couldn't reach him or didn't hear back quickly. Second, they were on the job every day. We've had contractors in the past do some work, then disappear for a while, but not these guys. On the few times weather slowed it down (we did this in the middle of winter) he always called the night before to let us know no one would be coming. The quality of the work is exceptional as well...no issues with anything and we still get compliments to this day! In fact we already talked to Oleg about replacing our deck sliding door. Going forward any time we need work done, we'll talk to Oleg and windows by installer first. Again, can't recommend enough!!!

Alex was extremely professional and responsive. He was quick to get a quote to me and followed through with the proposal. After months of our indecision, we hired Windows by installer to do the job, their crew showed up on the day scheduled. They were courteous, kept the site clean, and overall did a really good job.
We had a bit of a miscommunication about the sliding door that was going in to replace two windows and realized a couple weeks after the job was done that the threshold was not high enough to allow for the stone tile to be installed on the patio outside. Without argument, Alex sent his team out to take out the door and reinstall, and it looked just as good the second time! It only took them a couple hours and they used no expletives during the install. ;)

I saw the 'Big Deal' for windows from Windows by Installer, and after reading their reviews, decided to go with them. Great windows and top notch customer service. I had a picture window with two smaller windows on each side in the living room, which did not offer a lot of air when they were opened. Oleg suggested going with 3-wide window, and I absolutely love the functionality and also the look. When I crank out the side windows, there is nothing to block the breeze from coming in now, and the openings are so much wider than what I had. He also suggested going with an obscure pane in the bottom of the bathroom window, which I like. I'm very happy with the 12 windows I purchased, the price includes the full grids I wanted. The installation went very smoothly. Oleg, Steve and team were very quick and efficient. They handled removing my blinds and putting them back up for me and adding wooden stops in the window where my portable A/C is, something I did not have before. The team was also very neat and picked up everything before they left. I Would recommend this company to anyone looking for windows. I am going to have them back to install two doors for me in the fall. It did take awhile for the windows to come in, but I had been told that it would be about a month, also a couple of delays due to rain, but definitely worth the wait!!!

Alex installed 8 windows, 2 new exterior doors and new vinyl siding. His team installed all of the windows in 1 day and the last window had been broken in their warehouse so it was rushed and installed 2 days later. They also installed a brand new front door, and rear door off the garage. Alex and his team then stripped the house, installed Tyvek, Greenguard and the new siding in 5 days. He was very helpful with suggesting window styles and suggesting we visit the Showroom. They were there everyday. They are a very efficient team who do great work. They arrived everyday on time and worked very fast. I highly recommend them. We had a few pictures fall off the walls during the stripping and Alex reimbursed us so we could buy new frames. He's very reasonable and he made the potentially stressful experience much easier.

I would like to say that Windows by Installer surpassed all my expectations for this project. There are a few things that carry a lot of weight with me and they managed to hit all of those goals perfectly.
Pre-installation:
Oleg was very responsive to my request for a quote as well as very professional. This may sound like a "should happen" situation, but there were a few contractors that never called me back. He took his time despite being obviously busy to explain our options and get a timely quote. We ended up choosing a middle of the line windows that fell within our budget.
During the wait time for ordering Oleg gladly accepted my calls and let me know that status of my window order. After a few weeks of waiting he reached out to me for scheduling and worked us into the schedule.
Installation:
On installation day Oleg and his crew arrived at the allotted time, ready to go, and got to work right away. All the major surfaces were covered in plastic and they covered surfaces where they had major foot traffic. They worked efficiently and for all intents and purposes non-stop until the afternoon to complete the job. They even took the extra step to paint our exterior trim for the windows.
During the installation the crew was constantly cleaning up after themselves. By the end of the day all they had to do was vacuum, which they did, and clean the glass on the windows.

Alex, Dave & the crew of Windows by Installer were great. Steve came to give the estimate. The price was good, but the fact that they could install 20 windows in one day, was great. Dave then came out to measure each window & the storm door. When the windows were available the work date was set soon after. Dave, Oleg & crew arrived about 7:15 am ready to work, even though it was already 32 degrees and forecast to be near 38! Before noon, everything was installed, inspected, areas cleaned up and everything inspected again. They worked efficiently, quickly & cleanly! I will definitely recommend them & use them again.

We had a few proposals from Window companies and thought we would look at contractors as well - really glad we did! WBI came up as an option with excellent reviews so we contacted them for a quote. Alex came around and went through the options. First thing we noticed - this was not a smooth sales call with brochures and working window frames. We really liked that and also for the first time fully understood the difference between replacement and renewal. We talked about what we would like though we had been told by others that a couple of things were not possible or would be very expensive. WBI/Alex basically said they could do what we wanted and also came up with a couple of other suggestions which we took.
And the price was highly competitive so we felt we had the best proposal at a good price so we gave the go ahead for the whole job.
We got a team of 4 or so working on the job for 3 days with 1 day off due to bad weather. Mostly young guys. They were careful, worked really hard and were courteous and respectful. We had a couple of minor requests when they were here and all were done willingly. Could not have been more impressed.
We are delighted with the results. One of the special requests was a single, large awning window in our kitchen. We were hopeful that it would work out as others said it couldn't be done. It is even better than we had hoped. Really, could not be more happy with the overall results.
From our perspective, once you get past the fact they are not selling and realize they wanted to help us get great results everything fell into place. The only area of concern was on the communication as we came close to start date. We sent an email and got a quick reply which got the ball rolling so all was well. The plus is that we were dealing with people who were going to do the work, not a sales or project manager.
We would definitely have WBI for future work.

Alex showed up when scheduled to give us a quote. His quote was very reasonable...one of the lowest. He called on a Wednesday to let us know the windows were in he could come on Saturday to do the install. We were having our daughters 2 year old b-day party on that day and asked if we could push it out to the following week. He assured us his guys would be there at 7:00am ready to go and by noon we would never know they were even there. He was right. His crew was outside at 6:45am and ready to go. They came in at 7:00 and Steven, the lead guy, walked us through everything they were going to do. We left at 7:15 and came back home around 10:30 and they were cleaning up. Everything came out excellent. Alex came by to review the work before the crew left. He was very easy to deal with from beginning to end and they did an A+ job. We would definitely consider them for our next job.

We were very happy with the whole process of dealing with Windows by Installer. Alex was a pleasure to work with from the first phone call. Oleg and his crew installing the windows were punctual, courteous and their work was top notch. The windows look great! The siding installation was delayed a bit by the weather but, Oleg and his crew believed in the "Mike Holmes" principal of do it right the first time. The siding job was just completed yesterday but after several walk a rounds I nor my wife can find any issues. With the windows and the siding, of the house looks great. I highly recommend Windows by Installer, for this type of work.

We met with the sales rep and after getting estimates from 4 other companies we settled on Windows by Installers. The price was in our range and the quality of the window rated great. We had 10 windows replaced. A week later an installer came and measured all the windows and we were told it would take about 2 weeks for the windows to be made.
In early May 3 installers came and installed the windows. They did an excellent job and cleaned up the areas where each of the windows went. I went around to each window with the installer and was shown how to operate all the different windows. During the inspection the installer told me 1 window sash would be replaced due to a scratch on the finish and we found another that had an imperfection in the glass later when cleaning them. Within 2 weeks both windows were replaced.
Overall I was pleased with dealing with Windows by Installer both before, during, and after the installation of the windows.
