We had been intending for some time to renovate our VERY outdated bathroom. We researched various tile fitters to tile our bathroom and once we met Rodrigo we knew we were in great hands and trusted his professionalism and sincerity.
He consulted with us on what tile would work best for our space and our needs. He listened to exactly what look we were envisioning while considering functionality for our young family. Rod was punctual, professional, friendly and worked intensely until the work was completed. His work speaks for its itself as it was masterfully done.

Rod and Evan are very professional and skilled tile installers. Their work was straight and level as tile installation should be! They completed the work as planned and within the budget agreed upon. We will definately be using Kasa Bella again as we were extremely happy with the work and attention to detail. We are thrilled with our tile job!

First a disclaimer in that Rod has been a neighbour and friend for several years, and so I was hesitant to hire him. After all, if there were problems, we would still have to see each other for years to come. Problem solved by paying the going rate to give us an arms-length arrangement.

I am glad that I brought him on board!! He was friendly, respectful of my wife & I and our home, met every deadline he set and left our home neat, clean and tidy.

Rod tiled a 10x20 utility room, a 9x12 foyer and a 12x15 laundry/office area using 4 different tiles in about a week.

Our backsplash turned out amazing, if not flawless..... and throughout the process even though I was asking tonnes of questions he was always happy to answer. It was like having a friend helping you out instead of just someone that just did the job that to get paid.

He takes pride in his work which is not always easy to find.

I had Rod quote me for the installation of approximately 30 ft2 of large format porcelain tile for my mother in law's front door entrance. Although the job was very small, Rod was willing to do the work and for a fair price. I found him to be very professional, tidy, courteous, down to earth, efficient, honest and true to his word which in these times is very hard to find. These qualities are very important to me. I have worked in the construction and engineering industry for over 30 years and have dealt with various contractors on small and very large projects. I must say that Rod is someone that treats his job like he was working at his very own home.

There was a minor issue with a couple of tiles, through no fault of Rod's, that needed to be removed and replaced - I contacted Rod with the problem and he came back as he promised and fixed the tiles in question at no extra cost - superior customer service skills.

In my humble opinion I would recommend Rod for any of your tiling needs - you will not be disappointed.

Rod removed the old ceramic tiles and installed beautiful porcelain tiles in my kitchen. The results look amazing. Rod was very friendly. He even offered extra services like disposing of the old dishwasher. He also managed to get everything done in only 3 days. I would have given a perfect score but I noticed that a couple of tiles on the edge have the pattern running in a different direction. It's not very apparent, though, and overall I'm very happy with the way my new floor looks!

About 2 years after we moved into our newly built home, the grout between the tiles in our kitchen and hallway started cracking. At first, we applied epoxy to fill in the gaps, but the situation worsened. More grout cracked, and then the tiles started to crack. We used up our only replacement tile, and the pattern was discontinued in the meantime. Other contractors told us that we would have to replace our entire floor (about 480 sq.ft.), but Rod saved us a lot of money by replacing the mortar for the tiles that were loose and the grout throughout the entire floor. He also replaced a cracked tile by pulling one up from behind the stove and replacing the one behind the stove with a near match.
Time will tell as to how long the job lasts, but it seems that in our case, there was probably no need to replace the sub-floor and all of the tiles. We like that Rod did not seem to try to sell us work that we didn't need. He listened to our needs and responded appropriately. We told him that we didn't want him to skimp on the quality of the materials or the attention to detail. It seems that he really heard us.
Rod did a thorough job. He replaced the grout not only in the visible places, but even behind the appliances. It looks like a completely new floor!
One bit of advice I would give is to make sure that you cover any openings to other rooms because when removing the grout, dust goes all over the place.
I would highly recommend Rod to anyone looking for an honest contractor who will listen to your needs and do a good tiling job.
