repair tech showed up to my house to repair a stove, that I had informed has a known problem with the upper door switch/locking latch, he informed me it would cost $280 for the repair plus parts, I informed great get it working.
20 minutes after he was done googling the stove and model he informed this part was discontinued, and presented me with a $316.41 bill for a repair ...?
I have to say, I'm a bit confused and a little ticked off, he didn't fix anything as the part is discontinued, but felt it just to charge me $316.41 for a repair...? the tech that showed up spent more time searching the model of the stove on google then anytime actually working on it. more offensive is when he left, I found all the information regarding serial # and model # on the metal plate that is attached to the top left corner of the stove he so called repaired.
I have called customer service 4 different times all of which informed they would be getting back to me, "Sonia" who I spoke with this morning informed she would look into this matter and get back to me today. it's now 5:54pm and guess what , I'm still waiting.
I have also left 2 messages on the customer services form on their web site and received an email informing someone would be getting back to me. guess what.... I'm Still Waiting
