Thomas showed up on time - then diagnosed the problem, found the source, and completed the repair inside of 30 minutes. Great Dane will be my first call next time I need electrical work.

I found Martin on Homestars. I was very impressed with Martin with his Service,promptness,reliability and reasonable costs. I had to upgrade the electric service of an old house to City Code standards. Martin even took the time to call the city inspector and discuss the issue and sorted out the problem. I was more than happy with service I got from Great Dane Electric. I would definitely use then again.

The service was quick and professionally done. Tom was unable to make the first appointment due to bad roads, but he called beforehand and we worked out a time to reschedule. He was even willing to come on the weekend to do it! Martin was easy to deal with, and provided us with a free quote that was honored after the work was completed.
The best part was that their quote and invoice was posted online, and sent as a link in an email. That way I can have multiple copies, and access it whenever I needed/wanted to.
I am very pleased with their service, and would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Martin re-wired our kitchen for our complete renovation, installed pot lights, fixed faulty wiring, installed an electrical panel and connected our range hood, among other items. He explained all the options to us, including each benefit and disadvantage. The quote he gave us was accurate for the amount of work performed and the work was great! No problems with any of the work. He was adaptable throughout the job for all of our needs.

Before Martin came out, he spoke with me on the phone and via text to try to help me solve the problem before he came out - with me unable to find the problem he came out and was able to find and solve the problem quickly, and gave some good advice for some things I could do to improve the quality and safety of my home. Martin came out to install some lighting fixtures I had bought. He was prompt and knowledgeable, and did the job quickly. The first lights I bought were too big for the area, and Martin came back a second time to do the job and only charged me once. I have used him for other issues, and would definitely call him again.

I called Great Dane to help me with wiring the electrical for our new kitchen reno and island changes. They were great with all the changes and explaining what needed to be done. I called Great Dane to book them in to diagnose and fix an electrical issue in my bathroom. They were able to accommodate my schedule and booked in an appointment for the following day! Dan was on time and very pleasant. He diagnosed the issue immediately and had the job completed within an hour. I will for sure call Great Dane for future electrical problems and would like to thank them for their courtesy and promptness. A great company I would recommend to my family and friends.

On Monday morning I called because some of the lights in my house didn't turn on again. On Tuesday morning Dan was able to come. He arrived right on time. He found the issue (sloppy installation work during initial wiring) almost immediately and fixed it, not only for the malfunctioning circuit but proactively also for the rest of the house.

Overall I am very impressed with the speed and professionalism of the service. The eminently reasonable price was just the icing on the cake. GDE has definitely become my first choice for future electrical needs.
