Sun Valley Hvac

Was having issues with my furnace and after calling a few places on a Saturday morning sun Valley called me back, even though I hadn't left a message. Jay was sent out and was at the house within 2 hours. After attempting to fix the issue we were running into some issues so we discussed a purchase of a new furnace. He called the boss and they waved the first 2 hours of labor when I confirmed I'd buy. Jay gave me a quote and even though it was a Saturday did not charge me extra for weekend labor. 3 hours later sunvalley sent out 2 workers and they began the install that same day. After his calls Jay returned himself and assisted the other 2 guys. I really appreciated the personal hand he brought to it. He found a number of smaller issues and fixed them all for me as well, ensuring he explained everything to me in the process. I paid exactly what was quoted. Thanks so much to Trevor and David. Furnace has been running great now for 1 week. I have already recommended this company to another friend and would do so again. Jay was fantastic, request him, he really knows his stuff.

The furnace was purchased last 2014 and it was installed by Sun Vally HVAC and the furnace is under a coverage of LABOR ONLY under the insurance company Climate shield with the big certificate and in the certificate the big number 403-508-2593 for repair service.. I called the number many times and it is SUN VALLY HVAC and its just keep ringing and no one answered but a voice messaging that is already full and you cant leave a message. I have a baby and I need the furnace to be fix and finally I already contact them and told them the problem and when they found out that the furnace was under a coverage they said I still have to pay and they told me to contact the insurance company and the insurance company told me that they can't fix my furnace and I have to call the SUN VALLY HVAC to fix and I called again the SUN VALLY HVAC people but NO ONE ANSWER my call and NEVER CALL ME BACK even though I called them many times knowing that I have my BABY in the house and that made me cry for feeling sorry to my baby and so we are wearing winter suite inside the house for two days and decided to contact another company and tell the stories that we have experienced to this kind of company to our friends and family.

They started my job on a Friday and then didnt finish it until almost 1.5 months later. Assured me that they knew what needed to be fixed when they first looked at it but then after starting the job and not being able to fix my AC issues they vanished and were near impossible to reach on the phone. Ended up using a different company to fix the issue on my AC system.

Sun Valley HVAC provided a quote on the same day I requested it. Their quote was reasonable and the installation was completed within 1 week at the quoted price. The installers were competent , courteous and friendly. They completed the installation within the time frame estimate. I was consulted on the physical specifics of the installation and was made to feel welcome to ask questions about the equipment. The installers left a clean job site. The experience with Sun Valley HVAC was great customer service. I highly recommend this company.

They arrived promptly to do an estimate after I already had two done from other companies. He explained to me the size of AC unit I required. He told me I required a 2.5 ton unit for my house which was different from the other companies who recommended a 3 ton unit. He explained that a 3 ton unit was too big for my furnace and the air flow that it can provide. I agreed with him after calling the other contractors only to find they went off the square footage of my house alone and did not take anything else into account. I was not given a written estimate from Sun Valley which I now regret. I found out later the electrical inspection was not included in the price. I was told I would have to get a permit and look after it myself if I wanted the installation inspected or they could have it inspected for an additional cost. This was a surprise as the other companies included an electrical permit and inspection in the total price Something to watch for.
Besides that the installation was good. They took there time and spent most of the day installing it. They told me they found a loose circuit on another breaker in my electrical panel and fixed it for me which was nice.
The electrical work required was all done to code and I have no concerns about the quality of the work as I am an electrician myself. I was very surprised they performed the work on the panel without shutting down the main breaker. Installing a breaker and pulling wires into a live panel is not a safe practice. They could have easily shut off the main power to do it safely. As I said an inspection would have been nice but I will have it done when I finish my basement some day.
They told me there is a 10 year warranty on parts and a 5 year warranty on labor which is very good. Problem is I have not received anything on paper. Only thing I have is a final invoice with no mention of warranty. I will be requesting something so I have some back up just in case.
Overall they did a good job of the installation. If they offered more in writing it would have been much more professional. Everything was kind of on a handshake which is a bit unsettling. When you are spending over $3000 dollars its expected to have a written warranty and also a written quote so there are no surprises later on. Lesson learned on my part.

I am very satisfied with Sun Valley's service.
They came within hours of my call to scope out the project(A/C Replacement), gave me a fixed quote, and returned the next day to remove the old unit and install the replacement.
They were very professional, fixed many of the issues with the old install, and explained the why's and how's of what they were doing.
Very friendly and very clean, they laid down sheets to protect my floors and carpet, and left the outside cleaner than when they arrived. They also swept my driveway to ensure no bits and pieces were left.
Their prices were cheaper than other quotes I received, and without a doubt, they responded quicker and finished the job much faster than I expected.
I am very satisfied with the complete service and will be using them in the future to install my garage heater and gas lines to my bbq and deck.

We had a problem with our fan blowing continuously and would not shut off. At the same time heat appeared in some of our heating ducts but not in others.
I called Scott in the morning to arrange to meet me after work. Scott had already had a long day, but didn't hesitate to drop by. It did,t take long for him to figure out. It was tricky and had to do with the electrical wiring. Scott fixed the problem was very professional and polite. I will be recommending the services to anybody I may make the acquaintance with whereby help is needed with their heating system. A 'big' 'thank you' Scott! Wayne & Lil

Sun Valley HVAC just completed a new furnace install for us.
Price: Very reasonable quote. Decent equipment.
Cleanliness: They laid down cloth to protect our floors. They did a wonderful job of clean up. Everything looks tight and you can tell they take pride in their work.
Installation: We had nightmare legacy plumbing in place that they cleaned up. They flipped the furnace around from its previous configuration which was super awkward. Moved the furnace switch to a better spot, so I didn't have to go into the crawl space to flip it. The took their time with this installation to ensure it was done in a quality fashion.
Service: Scott took the time to talk us through all aspects of the installation. He asked explicitly more than a few times if we were completely satisfied with everything. He has a great personality.
I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

Sun Valley HVAC installed 2 furnaces, 2 air conditioning units, and a tankless hot water system in our home. The installation looks great. The technicians who completed the install were not in a rush, and took pride in there work. They explained every detail to us when they provided us with an estimate, in regards to different equipment, and permits from the city. Sun Valley was recommended to us from a friend, and we would recommend them to anyone looking at replacing there furnace or A/C.
