Called for a service on my furnace which was not igniting and had error codes. The technician jumped immediately to a cracked heat exchanger as being the issue, red tagged my furnace and recommended a new furnace. They then sent me a quote for a new air conditioner (my air condition was not involved or looked at at all for the service call). When I replied inquiring about this they then sent me a new quote for a new furnace AND and a new air conditioner. I tried calling to speak to someone on the phone and they said someone would call be back and never did. I then replied via email asking to speak to someone on the phone and never received a response. I ended up calling another company (A1) for a second opinion. They found that the furnace had been set up incorrectly by the installer and also that my Nest wiring was not done correctly and found no other issues with the furnace and will be having the red tag removed.
We have used Burlington Heating and Air Conditioning a few times now and have always been pleased with their work. Despite a hectic summer, Dave, the owner, always made time for us and assisted us with our projects. We are just completing a basement reno, and he was very professional and came up with great ways to reduce the need for bulkheads for the finished product. Great people and great service.
Had an issue with the furnace turning off automatically and not heating the home. Called this company and they send over a technician the same door. Mike was extremely pleasant to deal with and while the furnace needed extra work and stretched my initial budget a bit, the work was done properly and professionally. Mike left the home with a working furnace and it has been doing its job properly now for well over 2 weeks. I will definitely be using these folks to service my AC before summer and for any other furnace related issues, down the road.
