I contacted Doktor Handyman for a quote regarding some intricate work to be done in the basement. From the quoting process through to having the work completed it was a pleasure working with a true professional. The work was done on time and to a very high quality. I would strongly recommend using the services of Doktor Handyman.

I've hired KC a few times in the past for small jobs so when we decided to underpin our house and finish our basement, KC was the only person I called for a quote.

The project included framing, drywalling, painting, electrical, and flooring of one main family room. It also required extending the stairs (since the basement was 2 feet deeper) and the installation of a sump pump.

KC's crew (Ali & Sam) were thoughtful, professional, and considerate of our requirements and minimizing the disturbances in our home. I really appreciated Ali's input about several decisions for the basement including options for the flooring, positioning of lights, and finishing the stairs. We had one issue which came up with KC's plumber but, true to form, KC corrected the issue immediately. KC was also incredibly helpful in picking up supplies for me which was an incredible time-saver.

I know countless people who have had issues with contractors and renovators but this project came in on budget and on time (which was incredibly important as we were expecting our second child). Both Sam and Ali worked a couple Saturday's to make sure everything was finalized on time.

We're incredibly happy with the results and would recommend KC to anyone considering both small and large projects.

When I contacted Doktor Handyman I did not anticipate that this small yet very disruptive renovation project could be so effortless! My initial meeting with KC was arranged the day after I called to enquire about a quote (in itself an anomaly). The work was then agreed upon and started 2 days later (according to my preference and the nature of my business).

When Ali and Sam arrived they were professional, thoughtful, helpful and efficient. They easily tackled the job at hand, carefully thinking through each step, planning out their process and anticipating issues that might need to be addressed. They were creative in their solutions and fast and efficient in their work; always being mindful of our work space and cleaning up after themselves along the way.

I have organized and overseen many renovation projects and can honestly say that this experience was by far the most worry free and effortless project I have ever undertaken.

I truly believe Ali and Sam were invested and cared about the work they performed and what it meant for me.

Was looking for a contractor to do my water damaged basement flooring and came across Doktor Handyman when I googled at your site. First time to use homestars and decided to try as I have had a couple of not too good experiences with contractors found in Kijiji and local newspapers. KC was very prompt in responding to all my queries. And they have always been during the entire duration of the work. AL, who did the flooring, was very helpful and pleasant to deal with, The job was completed on time and most importantly, they did an excellent job on the flooring considering one area there that was quite challenging. First time for me not to get stressed with a home project. Am comfortable now knowing I have a very good handyman to work with on my future home projects. KC and Mo from Doktor Handyman did a fantastic job installing some door hinges and removing some stripped screws. They were very friendly and efficient and their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend their services.

We had a major renovation of a rental unit in a very old building, and K.C. was a pleasure to deal with. He was prompt, professional, and keen to make sure that everything he did met my expectations. I have since used him for smaller projects both at work and in my own home, and he has been wonderful!

Wall corner was broken and needed to be fixed. I called KC in the morning, he said he'd be there in the afternoon and he came in promptly. He got the job done in hardly any time at all and got it done beautifully. The wall corner looks like new.

We needed some help drilling into our concrete walls to hang up an antique mirror and a few pieces of art. Al did a great, quick job and was friendly and knowledgable throughout. He even showed me how to do the rest of the project so he wouldn't have to charge me for something I could do myself. As always, very satisfied with Doktor Handyman.

As a handyman and a DIY-er, the products that I have purchased from Araxa are in a league of their own. It was so surprising to see how many of their amazing products were available in RTA models. Araxa is definitely my go-to for all home renovations!

KC and his team did a terrific job on this project. He showed incredible dedication, kindness and skill in executing the project. He came to our house on short-notice on one of the biggest snowstorms of the year, gave me a quote on the spot, and arranged for the deck repair to be done within 7 days. Everything was done as promised and the quality of the work was great, and very affordable. I highly recommend him.
