We hired Richard to do all of the custom cabinetry work for our kitchen renovation. This was a really big job and we had high expectations for our dream kitchen but Richard is a true professional and with his experience, he helped us tweak our design until it was perfect. The quality of his work is exceptional. Richard is extremely detail oriented and made sure that nothing was overlooked. He delivered our project on time and on budget, and went out of his way to make sure that our expectations were met. I’m very happy with the recent two projects Richard did for us, a TV wall and a bookcase which are both outstanding. Richard exceeded our expectations doing a great job. He used new materials that matched perfectly with the flooring and the rest of the furniture. Richard was as always Richard very detailed taking dimensions and envisioning what we wanted. He was also on time delivering the projects.

When my husband and I first went to Affordable Woodworking right away we felt comfortable talking to Richard about our project. His work shop was clean and orderly which to us is a good sign of someone who does quality work. Richard came through with every commitment he made from keeping us informed on availability date to delivering on time. I sent out a design for a large office cabinetry project to 4 companies. Richard from Affordable Woodworking was the only to reply. The design was very detail-oriented. Richard discussed with me, all of the nuances of the design and came up with solutions for some of the complexities. I went to his shop and was able to select styles and finishes - from the floor moulding to the crown moulding. It took 3 days to install - and is such a phenomenal, exceptional, and beautiful office. The quality is top notch. The attention to detail, incredible. He also built a shelving system and tall cabinets in the bathroom - without designs. He delivered on time; worked around my schedule. Cleaned up after the work was done. Was wonderful to work with. Asked me for input as needed. Provided advice based on his experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard for any job - residential, commercial... Absolutely thrilled!
