Richard made these beautiful shelving for my cafe in three weeks. Quality was very good and he delivered them right on time which we were very satisfied and I highly recommend him.

I have employed Affordable Woodworking twice. Once to upgrade my kitchen when I was living on the Queens Quay and then again to build me a new kitchen when I moved to St. George St. and Bloor. I have found thw work on both occasions to be of high quality. The delivery to be prompt and on time and the price affordable as per his company name. If I were to move I would certainly use Affordable Woodworking again and would have no qualms about recommending him to anyone needing good cabinet work.

Richard of Affordable Woodworking built a custom bookcase in my condominium to disguise an uneven wall. I was impressed with his precision, planning and execution. The installation was quick thanks to his detailed preparation. The final product is elegant and exactly what I wanted.

I renovated my entire house last year and was referred by a friend to Richard at Affordable when we got to the finishing touches. As a finish carpenter he was absolutely fantastic. He spent a lot of time with me helping me to decide on proportion details for built in desks, a window seat, bookshelf and a mirror. We moved into an older home in Nov/10. We had several projects which were priorities. Although the kitchen was not one of them, we wanted to do something without incurring the cost of a brand new kitchen. Richard was recommended to us so we had him come in. He brought in samples of his work and examples of what materials were available. He measured everything meticuously and gave us a fair quote. He returned on the promised date and unpacked the new drawers and doors. Everything was wrapped very neatly and carefully. He unpackaged all of the pieces and put on the new hinges and knobs that he had guided us to acquire. He also hung a separate cupboard we had available, and cut the depth of another existing cupboard to allow us to acquire a new, larger fridge. Neighbours, friends and relatives all noted that the kitchen looked brand new. This feedback made the "fair" price more than reasonable. We would recommend Richard to anyone.
