Ken came in the day I called him and he immediately installed the humidifier. Another company quoted us $550 with the lowest end brand humidifier. Ken provided one of the best. He was informative and very professional. We had a furnace switch dangling and he even helped us put it back for no charge.

When the furnace company we'd chosen was unable to complete the installation within a reasonable time, they recommended Barry from Alfa Aire to do the installation. We were initially a little hesitant about this arrangement, but Barry quickly set our minds at ease. He arrived right on time, worked confidently and efficiently, and also went out of his way (and battled highway traffic) to get a customized piece of ductwork we were missing. After he finished, he explained everything to us in an intelligent and reassuring way. The installation was beautifully done. We feel lucky to have come across not one -- but two -- reliable, honest HVAC companies, and wouldn't hesitate to contact either in the future.

I have never experienced the extraordinary level of customer service provided by Barry and his crew. I first contacted Barry to help resolve a warning tag I received from Enbridge gas. Barry went out of his way to help me. He gave me his mobile phone number and was always available to talk or returned my calls promptly, he met with me late in the evenings after working all day, and took the time to patiently explain what he felt should be done. The service I received from Barry convinced me to use Alfa Aire to repair a leak in a gas line that should have been repaired by the HVAC company that installed it, and the guys who did the work were fantastic as well. From now on, Alfa Aire will be my furnace, A/C and water heater company. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Barry, Michael, and Jordan were prompt, professional, explained all the steps of the process, and cleaned everything up beautifully. Barry was the only one who even offered to come over, after I called numerous companies on a Saturday morning when my furnace stopped working. I am so glad I found Alfa Aire. I have never experienced such fantastic customer service. They will now be my go to company for furnace, humidifier, A/C, water tank. Don't think the big companies are always the way to go: I spent too much time pressing buttons on the phone trying to speak to a person! October 2013 I had a high-efficiency tankless water heater installed by Barry and his crew. The workmanship was good and the job site left very clean when done. There were two follow-up visits that included replacing a defective part. In my dealings with this company I found them to be very honest and reliable.

They were prompt and professional. My AC issue was solved quickly, and the furnace checkup seemed thorough. I had a lot of questions, and got a lot of good answers and explanations in return. Will use them again.

My family of four were four weeks into our first home. A warm spell in Toronto came, on Sunday we decide it was time to turn on the AC. Toggle it on the thermostat and... NOTHING. I scramble to check the breaker panel, the power shutoff beside the AC unit outside ... and double-check the thermostat. No AC :-(.

Called the top three Homestars, all booked until the following week, one volunteered to call me back if there were spots (all were polite though). Wednesday a colleague at work recommended Alfa Aire based on their furnace installation a few years ago and subsequent annual checkups. Called, Barry was very helpful and first stepped me through troubleshooting to see if he could get my AC up, after which he was able to schedule one of his teams for the next day. Problem fixed, furnace check-up compete, and questions answered.
