Waterman

Steve and his team came out to replace our plumbing stack and associated drains after a leak and some mold growth. The communication his team had with us throughout the process was particularly impressive: when they had difficulty removing a kitchen cabinet to access the old stack, they called us to describe the problem and to give us options about what we could do. The matter was quickly resolved. They were also very tidy in our space and considerate of the fact that we have a small child, a pet, and a baby on the way - they were efficient, and as tidy as they can be considering the job to be done. Thank you Steve! We've recommended Waterman to many of our friends and neighbours.

Have an older home which needed new PVC drains due to tree roots getting into the older clay pipes. This project was a big undertaking for us and Waterman walked us through the full process starting with viewing the pipes with a camera to explaining clearly what was needed. The job was done very quickly over just a few days and the primary team working on site was skilled, very organized and kept the area clean which we really appreciated along with being friendly. Steve and Jim answered all our questions and came on site during the project to see how things were progressing. We were not able to use our drains for a couple hours here and there which I also appreciated. We are really pleased with the quality of the work - had a great experience and would call on Waterman again if needed.

Steve was prompt and responsive - he came to quote the same day when called, and was able to start work as soon as we wanted, working around our schedule. His team was organized and obviously experienced. They finished a relatively big job in a day and left the place spotless. We had some questions about the work, and Steve was happy to come by and talk with us about it. He agreed to do some extra work we thought needed to be done to complete the job at no extra cost. He's fair and honest.

My bathroom tub has been draining slowly for some time and once I finally got sick of it I decided to call up Waterman after getting quotes from other companies. The plumber, Bryan, came right on time, even called me a half an hour earlier to let me know that he was on his way. He finished the job quickly and gave me some tips about keeping the drain clear- not to mention Waterman gave me the best price for the job, over $100 less than other quotes for the drain snaking!

I couldn't be happier with the work and I'd go back to Waterman for a heartbeat for any future plumbing work! They're my new go-to plumber- would DEFINITELY recommend.

We had serious water issues and Steve was the first contractor to get back to us. He explained everything in detail, gave us options and answered all our questions. The team started immediately and got everything done in 3 days and left the place tidy. We also paid exactly the estimate. Our basement has been dry ever since and we're so glad we found Waterman. We deal with many contractors on a daily basis and I would like to commend Chris, Jim and his team of experts on their professionalism, commitment to customers and hard working crew. They really rose to the occasion and provided stellar service. Our kitchen sink was backing up and after trying to snake the main 4" line in the basement for a couple hours, I finally came to the conclusion that we need to call in the experts. Called Waterman on my cousin's recommendation. Chris explained to me that we likely needed a power flush as all I was doing was boring through grease which would plug right back up as soon as I took the snake out. He committed to a fast turn around time and stuck to it. Sure enough Bryan and crew showed up 5 minutes early and well equipped for the job. Despite the nature of the problem, they were neat and tidy and did a great job.
I would like to thank the Waterman team for a super job and glad I went with them. Hopefully I will not require their services again but I now know who to call when I do.

Waterman was referred to me by my cousin. They came on time and did the job quickly and accurately. They explained what they did in detail, and followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure that everything was working fine. I will definitely use Waterman again!

Last October, an 80 year old clay sanitary line collapsed directly under our basement footing. We live in a low area and when the work began water appeared. We discovered that the water table was very high on our street. Waterman was recommended to us by another contractor, and Jim and Steve were able to help us. Both a crew and equipment (excavator and vac truck) had to be mobilized, and they worked fast. They knew exactly what had to be done and obtained the required permits. I will recommend Waterman to other home owners.

Renovating an old home is never an easy task...it is expensive and stressful and you never know what to expect when the walls come down and the floors come up. We know that the plumbing was great in our home and we knew we had to fix it, we just didn’t think it would happen within the first 30 days of moving in. I had no idea who to call - who to trust? Contractors throw numbers at you and you have no idea if they are telling you the truth about what needs to be done. Word of mouth is the best referral and working in the customer service industry, it is how I find who I need for what I need.
Our awesome home inspector (David Snooks/Under the Rooftop) gave me the name of Jim from Waterman and it was the best and easiest call I have ever had to make. He picked up right away, listened to my horror story and came out on January 2nd, 2015 (I called him New Year's Eve!). He was extremely polite and courteous and started to investigate right away. He explained everything that he suspected was wrong and gave me two scenarios (easy fix vs. the complete fix). He sent his team out on the following Monday. Steve was another blessing. He and his team looked at everything with the camera and explained everything to me that made it easy to understand - and never in a condescending manner. He gave me the work invoice and fee right away and they stuck to it for two weeks straight. His plumbers (Alexei and Nicolai) were incredible! They didn’t stop all day! They always explained the work that they did at the end of the day and answered all of my questions. Steve also returned my calls or text messages right away and they never left me in the dark. They replaced the lead pipe and the clay pipes and whatever else they felt needed to be done. I am still in awe at the intense work that they did and I cannot say/write enough GREAT things about WATERMAN. They are my Knights in plumbing armour!! If you don’t call WATERMAN, then you will not be getting platinum work done. My father is a plumber (50+ years strong) but this work was too much for him but being Italian, he had to make sure everything was good - and he was impressed!!!! :)
