Last month I went into my finished basement and saw a yellow tint on my wall. I was shocked to see this, at first I thought that there was a pipe burst, however ruled that Idea out when only a small portion of the wall was wet. I did not want to let this problem get worse so I started to look around online for a company that would come for free and explain the problem. When I came upon Metro Plumbing and Drains, I was happy with the reviews and the free estimate. I book an appointment on the same day and the plumber was there in about an hour. First he went to the basement and then started to check the exterior of the house. After about twenty minutes he came to me and said that drained water was leaking from the outdoors. He said that in order to fix the problem I needed to do basement waterproofing. He explained to me what waterproofing was and how it was done. I got a precise estimate of the price, and we agreed that they would start the next day. The next day they came at 9 AM as was planned and started immediately. The job took about three days. I hardly noticed that they were there at all. In the mornings I would leave when they came and at nights when I came they already left. When the job was done they left my backyard clean and put all the dirt back into the hole. They also suggested me a company that would fix my basement interior. I was very pleased with all the things that Metro Plumbing and Drains did for me since my first call. The price was as estimated, and from now on Metro Plumbing is my default plumbing company.
