Emergency replacement of old water heater which burst on Saturday 19th November. Replacement with new unit on Monday 21st November but the area was lacking the necessary electrical outlet. Called Sean and explained my issue: he squeezed in a visit, between two other jobs, and installed a new outlet, like pronto.

We hired Shawn after interviewing other electricians. We bought a house and needed the system to be upgraded not to mention the knob and tub issues and hidden agendas in the house. It turned out to be a big and rather complicated project. Shawn mastered it brilliantly for a very fair price.

I hired Shawn because he explained the difference between new constuct and retro fit and didn't try to sell me on extra work.The price was very fair and the work clean and tidy. The holes were few and ready to paint over. I was very happy with the hole project.

Felstead Electric had done a small job for us, and we wanted them back to do a major renovation of our wiring. We were prepared to wait until previous clients had been served. Shawn priced the contract carefully ahead of time, and when we asked for some modifications and additions, he came back and went over the house a second time to be sure everything was in writing and correctly estimated. Shawn and his assistant completed a complex job in just twelve working days. At the end of every day they cleaned up carefully. They were also careful not to disconnect the old outlets and fixtures until the new ones were operational, so we were never left without power anywhere. They were friendly and pleasant, got on well with our dogs and cat, and worked efficiently. Appropriate inspection was arranged. The only additional cost was the price of some dimmer switches we had added while the work was in progress. We got a first-rate renovation for a very good price, and a pleasant experience into the bargain. We expect to have Felstead back for any electrical work we require in the future.

Felstead Electric (Shawn) recently upgraded the wiring in our newly purchased home and removed the old know and tube. Sean took tremendous care in the project and minimized the amount of holes needed to rewire. This was greatly appreciated as the plaster design could not be replicated. Furthermore, Sean completed the project on time and provided all the required documentation for us to gain improved insurance premiums. We felt Sean to operate with integrity, took pride in his work, and he would be the first electrican for us to call for future work.

We hired Sean Felstead after interviewing and meeting a number of master electricians. We found him to be extremely upfront and frank, which we appreciated. Throughout the work, he was always professional, finished work on time and within the budget he initially presented to us. We also had other electrical issues from a previous contractor who had done work without permits, and not to code. He was exceptional. He bent over backwards to help us out and worked as efficiently and reasonably as possible to bring our house to code. Overall, we would recommend Sean in a heartbeat. He's also quite funny, which is kind of nice- especially when dealing with stressful renos!
