Appears Loyalty Does not Count
Thinking about cutting our landline and use cellular phones only. Contacted Alarmforce to get information about cellular. Was transferred to Tech Support whereby informed all Alarmforces products now cellular. Even though I've been a loyal customer since Nov. 16/2012, was told I would have to get a whole new system at $29.95 and sign a three year contact. Additionally I would have to pay for the added items I presently have as not compatibile with new system, 1 keypad, 2 door sensors, 1 motion detector as for $156 bucks! In other words as if I was some new smuck calling for the first time! Anyway final call loyalty department next day and was resolved. But I was also told Alarmforce sometime in future was going to contact present customers and have them change over/upgrade to newer equipment. Based on what I was initially told I would the would have to start right from scratch, what incentive is Alarmforce giving to have existing customer upgrade. If Alarmforce had called me to upgrade, with no incentiving to do so I would tell no thanks, happy with system I have now. Not much loyality here! To sum up, Sherry for Loyality did an excellent in meeting my needs and I thank her, but I worry about other loyal customers.
