Alarm Force's exterior video security and support center
Our home has been monitored by alarm force security for over 8 years. On Friday we scheduled the alarm force technician to install the new exterior video security system. We have no problems with the technician, however, the technician did not have a ladder. When he was working inside our home, the technician stood on top of his small plastic tool box which didn't support his weight and fortunately we saw an accident about to happen and gave him a step ladder to use or we would have had to deal with a Work Safe situation in our home. Then when it came to installing the exterior camera, he didn't have a ladder to reach the fascia and now the camera has been installed too low and the camera also does not give a wide enough coverage. I spoke to the support center today asking about the availability of better cameras with has wider lens coverage and was told this is all they provide. I was also informed alarm force's technicians are not required to have a ladder with them. I inquired about the connected thermostat. The support center said they didn't have these. I mentioned they were shown on Alarm Force's website and I wanted more information. The support center said they didn't have any. I asked when they would be available and was told he didn't know & to probably call back in a month. Really Alarm Force this was a real negative experience dealing with the support center's lack of knowledge; also the lack to assisting me; and the limited range of the exterior camera.
