I have been an alarm force customer for approximately 6 months now and am completely disappointed with the technology, service, and technical "support". Our alarm system worked okay for the first two months and then we added a few additional sensors. When the technician left the first time two of our three door sensors were not working. It took another month and a half to get a technician out (all the while still paying for a security system that was not working). The technician finally came out to fix the sensors and when working on our doors caused damage to two of the three main doors to our house (paint chipping, not removing glue). Needless to say we now have to repaint our doors. The service technician over the phone was helpful in getting our system going again, however at this point I am frustrated by the lack of customer service that I want out of my contract ASAP. The representatives over the phone were not helpful in making my frustrations feel heard or understood, and I assure you that I was being respectful. Unfortunately, I would need to buy out the rest of my contract to do this. I would not recommend alarm force to anyone. The technology looks as though it is out of the 1980s and has not been updated. There are many other more technologically advanced systems out there that have much better customer service.
**update - I have emailed Matt for a response and it was not responded to. Just another stellar example of the great customer service......
