AlarmForce

Buyer Beware! Know what you are signing up for before you put your ink to paper. This company will not rectify any of your issues and will only put the blame back on you! Do not get stuck in a three year contract!!!!! When I signed a three year contract I was told by the technician that I was signing to waive the fee of purchasing the equipment and hook up. I was also asked by the technician to give an emergency contact number. This was never explained to me. I gave alarm force my elderly mother's phone number as "next of kin." Last October I was robbed of over $10,000 of sentimental jewelry, including my grandmother's jewelry. No one was sent to my house because two phone calls were made, the last one being my Mother who doesn't live anywhere near my house. She made the decision to tell them not to send anyone because it must be my cats. If the emergency contact number had been explained, I wouldn't have put her on there. I went home during broad daylight with a hole in my window and no security. I had to call the police myself! When I complained, I was told I still had to stay in my contract. I have been paying for a service for 12 months that I am completely disatisfied with. This summer I got engaged and sold my house. This is when I found out that my equipment did not come with a three year contract. Why else would I sign a three year contract? I can't take the keypad with me or the main sensor because it is drilled into the wall. Alarm Force's response "you signed to have it drilled into the wall." When asked if I can transfer to my Mom this horrible service, Alarm Force's response was I would have to buy the keypad and sensor again because it wasn't part of the contract. My fiance is with Rogers, I can't transfer this service to my new house nor do I want to because I have zero confidence in them. My fiance is in a contract with Rogers and we want to stay with them. To top it off, I must pay $33.89 a month for the next 14 months and then pay for the equipment that I can't take from the house I sold because it is drilled into the wall. Spread the word! The worst company to ever work with. Once you sign on the dotted line they no longer provide you with any customer service. Run while you can!

Approximate cost of services:
$33.89
