I was ordering a whole set of entry doors plus side door from Home Depot. The Peak salesman came and expected me to make a $15000 purchase without seeing any samples. After I failed to find the glass/door style at Home Depot here AND in the USA (where he directed me), I cancelled that order and made a new order for the only doors I was able to find and see - BUT the next day the salesman told me they could not do the color I chose. Why didn't he know that before we wasted a whole day?
I was trying to get these doors installed before Christmas but at this rate, it would take a month just to get the order right!
I then said I would do the side door only but he had given me 3 unexplained prices for that same door and simply sent me an order to sign for the higher price. When I asked for an explanation I never heard from him!!! So much for "time is of the essence"
Therefore I asked for a refund. Days later he finally emailed me as if nothing had happened and said i could have a refund - but I am still waiting. What poor service and poor knowledge of product!
TWO WEEKS LATER - NO REFUND!! I had to pay over $4000 to my credit card company to cover the deposit charge the salesman took the day he came over! Why did his charge register with my credit card company within hours but the refund is still not registered at my credit card company after 2 WEEKS?????
PS I have since had other quotes and the home depot one is way higher and the quality is no different from anything I can see!!!!
