Dishonest sales rep and poor customer service

My furnace broke down in Dec/2023 so I contacted Reliance Home Comfort for inspection and replacement. A sales rep was assigned to me. I initially agreed to rent the furnace but decided to purchase the unit instead within the customer remorse period stated in Reliance's contract. So I contacted the sales about my decision. She offered me a discount price on the furnace purchase if I would buy the heat pump from Reliance too. I agreed to take the discount and went ahead with heat pump purchase from Reliance. The heat pump was installed in Feb/2024 but charge for the furnace never showed up in my bill. I reached out to the sales through email, text, and phone call but never got any response from her. Therefore, I contacted Reliance customer solution on 5/12/2024 and was told to get back to me after speaking with marketing department. It's been almost 2 months since and 5 follow up emails after, I got no answers from either party. I've been completed ghosted! Reliance has started billing me for the furnace rental and completely ignore my request to resolve the issue. I have no faith in this company. Be very careful about their offers and make sure you obtain a second opinion before making a final decision.

Dishonest Furnace Service-Sales

Called Reliance Home Comfort for service since we had a heating protection plan with them. Our furnace had broken down on Jan 30,2024.
The service tech arrived the next day and could not diagnose the actual problem with the furnace. He then told us that the furnace had a damaged heat exchanger and that the only solution is to buy a new furnace. He proceeded to cut off the gas to the furnace and served us a violation notice. A Reliance sales rep arrived later to sell us a new furnace.

I wanted a second opinion and called a local company that services gas furnaces. The new service technician located the problem in a few minutes and said that the heat exchanger was fine. He also performed additional checks including performing an exhaust gas analysis. The local company also took care of clearing the violation notice with the gas utility service.
Unfortunately this cost me $1859.

I am in the process of contacting Reliance Home Comfort to see if they are willing to pay for the cost of the service since I did have a valid service contract with Reliance Home Comfort.

AC unit purchase

Bought the AC unit in may or June. Their electrician and Gary the sales guy said it would work with our 100amp service would be sufficient. And of course after install they tell us it wont work. So $12k for a unit later, it sits unused. Electrician comes to do work and gives Hydro wrong info. So here we sit in August still with no AC but one big metal cement holder is what it is. No calls from Reliance (the pun does not go unnoticed on me). I have tried to contact them numerous times. DO NOT USE THEIR ELECTRICIANS OR BUY FROM RELIANCE.

Approximate cost of services:
$120,000.00

Salesperson stops answering your calls after contract has been signed

I signed 7 year contract for voiler rental for $200 per month. The sales person, Dustin was amazing before I signed the contract but but once that was done and cooling period over, he stopped answering my texts and calls. Just to make the deal sweet, he promised to install wifi enabled thermostat. I took his word. He won't answer calls and when I call the company, they say they have no record on file regarding wifi thermostat. Be aware of DUSTIN. on the other hand, the euipment installer, Azad, was very good and did a great job.
