Front yard cleanup of badly overgrown weed
Estimate was for 284.00 plus tax.. which was a red flag already, because at the beginning it say 199.00
and the quote states if extra time is required it will cost 85. dollar per man hour with an option to choose it or not.. I did not. on the service day, I was told that they need an extra 2 man hour.. so I guessed 2 man for an hour is an extra 180. so I confirmed with the company that I authorize the 2 man hour extra. A couple of days later, I receive a email notification of my credit card being charged almost 4 times the estimated quote I received.
Spoke with the company and they refuse to take responsibility of continuing working beyond the contracted time I have agreed to. I have emails of the request of 2 more man hours and my email.. the original quotes.. etc. I am a senior and have suffered several heart attacks.. so even thought this frustrates me so immensely, I must not try to make it upset me too much to affect my health.
