Sears Canada Inc. - Southgate

Where do I get started, I ordered a mattress and box spring from sears in person at this location. 2 weeks later they finally deliver my order but! they sent me a queen mattress and half of a box spring.
When I called to let them know, they said they would call me back in 48 hours. THIS NEVER HAPPENED, I called many times and left many messages until finally the following week I went into the store.
While at the store they tried to tell me I had to pay MORE money, I had to purchase another half of a box spring AND delivery. I exclaimed I was not purchasing anything else and they could come pick up what they had sent me and return my money. after a not needed argument with 3 staff they finally decided to send me a full box spring free of charge and planned to pick up the half box spring. (this is where things get complicated) The man insists I HAVE to pay for the box spring I already have and he will return my money when he receives the box spring back. I paid the 100 dollar "deposit" it has now been 2 weeks and ever time I call and leave messages they NEVER get back to me. I am about ready to go back into the store AGAIN.
Purchase from this company and location at your own risk, seems like they just take your money and refuse to return it.

They had a huge sale on garage door openers. got it at a good price at 50% off.

After meeting with and receiving quotes from a few different roofing companies we decided to go with Sears. The products from most were very comparible but for the type of shingle we wanted and the other work to be done on the roof the price was best through Sears Home Services. As well, we felt confident going with them as they are are a reputable company. They also offered a great interest free financing program and the saleman we met with was great - very informative, knowledgable and to the point, yet not at all pushy or trying to sell us something we didn't want. Very satisfied with this company.

I was very happy with the product. It was more the service that was an issue. We had purchase our fridge with a number of different appliances and so were able to take advantage of a bulk discount. However, when we swapped the fridge model (because we found out that the one we originally ordered had been discontinued - this we were not told of, but had to find out on our own), they had trouble figuring out the new total cost and messed up the discount to their advantage (which I'm sure was not on purpose). It took MANY phone calls to fix the issue and my explanation on what needed to be done mathematically because no one could figure it out!!!
