Garage Springs replacement and roller replacement.

One of my springs broke on the weekend and I waited till Monday to call a few places to get a repair quote. They were same cost as other places and arrived Sameday and earlier then expected. Call to let me know they would be arriving early. He had both springs replaced quickly and recommended new rollers after a few tests. I agreed and he completed the whole job in under an hour. Attached stickers on door with phone number for an issues and has 3 year warranty.
Would recommend

Garage door purchase and installation

Ed Saad from Pro-Master Garage Doors Service's Ontario Garage Doors subsidiary, was a diligent and very customer oriented sales and service rep. going into each and every detail of our garage door replacement options and purchase.
He then proceeded to follow our purchase of 2x garage doors with excellent customer service, responding promptly same or very next day) depending on lateness of our call) to any issues or concerns, and resolving them to our complete satisfaction.
Mo (Mohammad) was an extremely hard working installer, who did a good job with the installation and follow-up adjustment of about 1.5 cm to center one door, (I am very particular), which I only noticed after a day.
Furthermore, their prices are very reasonable and well within the ballpark of competitors.
I would unreservedly recommend Pro-Master Garage Doors Service and their Ontario Garage Doors subsidiary for any garage door replacement purchase and installation.

Garage door closes halfway and goes back up

New garage opener from Sears, instal less than a year. Jan 31, 2009, technician arrived 11:45am, $120 to replace circuit board plus labour $55, plus tax. Senior light also burnt, can be replaced later around $80. To my knowledge, both the circuit board and the sensor light does not damage and burnt out that soon. Paid him $58 and let him go without fixing. Another technician recommended by my friend came and $60 for mounting the sensor on both side of the door. Both the circuit and sensor light are in good condition.
For the next 2 weeks, I kept calling 1-877-903-6677. Told me that their company is in Ontario, the company contract the job to technician in Vancouver. Told me that the technician was an expert, the circuit and sensor light might not last, he suggested to replace it. There is nothing she can do for me.
I wrote to Better Business Bureau, I received a letter back from BBB dated April 8, 2009, " the matter has been closed as a " no response " complaint in the company's file.
" we regret to advise you that our effort to assist with the satisfactory resolution of your complaint has failed. we have not received the requested written response from the subject company. From this we must conclude that the company chooses not to cooperate with the BBB in this instance. In handling complaints involving non-accredited businesses, we rely on the voluntary cooperation of the business."
Today is Feb 6 2017, since the fixation of the sensor for $60, my garage door opener is still operating fine.

Garage door broken

We had Jeff come out to look at a broken garage door. Response time was quick, and the price quoted was reasonable. We ended up waiting to move forward on the job, but would recommend this company to others.

Replace Springs on 16' X 7 Wood Garage Door

Needed to replace the springs on my garage door, called around and found pro-master to be the cheapest and quickest. They did a fantastic job, balanced out the door just perfectly, and that was in June 2008. Its now May 2012, and they are still going good. They were very professional and didn't try to up sell me on things I didn't need. I am in the market for a new door, and I will definitely be having them over for a quote.

Garage Doors Services (Sales/Service/Repair)

I responded to their promotion for garage door inspection. (see my previous review). After a few days, my garage door malfunctioned... I called for their warranty. The receptionist told me their warrantee technician only works certain days of the week and only during 9-5. I made the appointment and made sure someone was home to receive the technician. The technician showed up two hours BEFORE the appointment. Luckily, my wife was home. He inspected the garage door and stated the work required was not covered in their warrantee. He booked another appointment a couple of days later when he actually fixed the door. The parts provided by them are pricy.

Garage Door Installation

I needed to get my garage door installed and I wanted it to be automatic. I was tired of straining my back to open the door. I contact this company to come in and replace the door and include an opener. They came in, replaced it and left all within one day. Great work and my back is much happier now. Would recommend.

Garage door spring replacment

I called Pro-Master after the door spring suddenly broke as they advertised a standard price for this repair in the Yellow Pages. The repairman worked quickly and competently and was very good at upselling other items such as rollers. I was talked into more of a repair than I probably needed, and the items I was sold were marked up substantially from what they would cost at a home improvement store, I later learned, but the door works well and I would call this company again...although I would be more wary of the quick talking upsell.

Install 2 garage doors

Due to their professional telephone conversation and the apparent sincerity of Dave the sales rep, I chose ProMaster despite some negative reviews on this website. Their price was competitive and I checked a few references who were all satisfied. The installer Marcin understandably arrived a little late due to traffic and set about his task in the most meticulous and organized manner. Before starting he laid out his parts, down to the last nut and bolt, in a very structured fashion and was not guessing or lost at any time. The doors and hardware are top quality and were very competently installed. Marcin completed the installation in the promised time and left the work site clean. More importantly, the doors appear to be working very well. I really could not ask for more.

Replacement of Garage Door opener

My garage door opener died in the middle of winter. I went with Pro-Master as they are a large oufit. They did a good job installing the opener in less than 2hours . However, they tried to convince me that the rollers of the door need replacing at $10 a roller x 10 .I had the door replace a few ago before and the rollers were fine.
