Mike was very helpful and did an excellent job with the gas range installation. He went over and above by answering questions and providing advice over the phone several times before the installation. He explained potential problems regarding the weight of the range and the clearance distance and provided detailed recommendations for how to address the issue. During the installation he took the time to carefully check the functioning, the heat of each burner, etc. I would highly recommend working with Mike Shurben.

Michael came to our house to install a natural gas line to a BBQ. He did a wonderful, clean, professional job, and answered any and all of our questions along the way.

Contacted Mike Shurben after reading his reviews on Homestars and also on advice from another gas professional. I needed a new LP gas line running from the basement into the kitchen for our new gas stove. Mike initially asked us a number of questions to ensure that the existing space would meet all code requirements (cabinet height, clearances etc.) In addition to line installation he also undertook a NG to LP conversion, setup and installation of the stove. Overall we are very happy with the work undertaken. Highly professional and conscientious with a comprehensive knowledge of code requirements. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any gas work.

I contacted Mike based on reviews on this site. As everyone else has noted, he arrived promptly and his quote was the final price. He is obviously very safety conscious. We will recommend him to anyone looking for a gas installer.

If we could we'd give 12/10 stars! Mike was very personable, professional, and right on time. Pricing was exactly as quoted with no surprises. Excellent service (he even helped us out with another gas issue not related the work he was doing for us, but he nonetheless very kindly helped us!) Definitely Mike is the only one we're recommending to family and friends for any gas installation or work.

I chose Mike to install a natural gasline and hookup for my natural gas bbq after I saw all the positive reviews here. I'm happy to provide my own review. Mike did an excellent job and was a delight to deal with. I didn't have to worry about a thing and he clearly knows the codes backwards and forwards which provides me with all kinds of peace of mind. What particularly stood out about Mike is that I didn't need to run after him, he was proactive in getting the job done right from start to finish. I highly recommend.

We are very happy with the installation of our gas line for the new gas barbecue that we purchased recently. Mike was very professional and thorough and we are enjoying cooking on the barbecue. A good experience.

Mike is one of the most knowledgeable, helpful, and detail-oriented professionals I have ever met. He responded to my initial email in less than an hour on a Saturday morning and corresponded with me over both phone and email to answer questions my husband and I had leading up to the installation of our new gas line and dual-fuel range. He also provided excellent advice on the brand and model of the range and hood we were purchasing to ensure that they would match our needs and be up to code given our space restrictions. (We actually ended up saving money on our appliance purchase thanks to Mike's advice!) Mike arrived on time, completed the work within the estimated timeframe, and charged exactly what he quoted. Mike is very personable, knowledgeable and thorough. He hooked up our natural gas dryer then I called him a few years later to do the BBQ. He stuck to the quote and did a great job. I also appreciated his tips about the other appliances in our home. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others!
