This person was well intentioned. He was recommended by Homestead home paints, jennylin, which was truly a mistake. She didn't come out to look at the issues we've encountered. As well we were asked for more money and put in a very awkward position as he was going to walk away from the project as he had misjudged how much time etc. was required.

It is unfortunate that this client has retained a negative impression of their experience. I did encourage the project and the use of milk-paint initially because it is something I believe in. I stand by it and my supplier. I even went so far as to subsidize the cost of doing this job. When the client made demands beyond the already generous contract definition of the job, a discussion regarding the cost of additional labour did arise. In the end a small concession was made by the client and the job was completed well above and beyond the contract definition of it. At this time we are still waiting to be paid in full. I have only had a similar such seemingly irreconcilable difficulty with a client once before in the early days of my business nearly 10 years ago. I guess if I'm going to have this posting I should remember to tell my clients to review me so as to contextualize something like this.
