He explained what needed to be done and why, provided an excellent quote, answered questions and had an excellent team. They were very professional, friendly and left the work site spotless. John came buy, went up on the roof and had a quote for me in less than 24 hours. He expalined what needed to be done and why. John was very up front with what the time frame would be. His crew showed up at 730am as he said and stayed until after 8 pm to finish the job in 1 day. They were very professional, friendly and left the work site spotless. Very reliable, professional and friendly crew! They did an amazing job installing new gutters on our home which is 4 stories high at some points (we have a very hard time getting trades to work on our house because of the level of difficulty!). I would highly recommend JMT, we are looking forward to the arrival of their painting crew in the next couple of weeks!

John at JMT Roofing is the most honest roofer I have ever met. His work is outstanding and quality of workmanship is incredible. I have done a number of renovations over the years but this was my first major roofing job. I called in a few contractors and finally found John and JMT while checking the ratings on Homestars website. I decided to call John and get his recommendation on our leaky roof and receive a quote. I was impressed by his sense of urgency and willingness to arrive quickly to assess the issue. He offered good advice and a verbal and written quotation which was very competitive. I liked his focus on quality products and materials which differentiated his company from the others. When we ran into some poor weather in June, John was very good at communicating the revised schedule and was mindful of the vacation and other work that was pending his completion. The crew showed up early each day and worked late to make sure the job was done. Brian did a great job as the foreman on the job site and made sure the materials were cleaned up daily and that I was notified of problems. We ran into some unexpected issues when old shingles and lack of plywood were found in some spots. This is usually when the relationship with a contractor is tested. In this case, John was fair with the extra costs and ensured that the work was done. The end job is amazing and the selection and finish are of a very high quality. John is a great guy (as is his crew) and they are focussed on the customer and the end product. I would not hesitate in recommending John for any roofing and gutter job. It take a lot for me to recommend any service company but in this case I can honestly say that his ratings and feedback live up to my experience. Thanks again John for a great job!

My cedar roof was 27 years old and I wanted to convert that into fiberglass shingles. I got quotes from various roofers. John offered a reasonable price so that I could even replace the skylights and gutters. His team members are polite and hard-working. I am very happy about the work they have done and now I don't have to worry about leaks anymore.

My thanks go to John and his crew, especially Brian who did most of the work, for a job well done in re-roofing my house. John was able to fit me in his schedule promptly and his crew completed the work in two days plus.
From the very beginning the project proceeded fairly smoothly. John responded quickly when asked for an estimate. He inspected the roof and listened to my concerns. He was able to give me a verbal estimate then, which did not change in the handwritten contract, nor when the final amount was due.
Brian and the rest of the crew worked fast and efficiently. They cleaned the area of debris every day. The finished roof looks great, and they also rebuilt a couple of small sections of built-in gutter over the carport. Brian even added rain diverters at the corners of the main roof to deflect rain away from the end of the rake and into the gutters.
JMT Roofing is a hard working company which I would highly recommend.

I first became aware of JMT Roofing through the HomeStars website. I sent bid requests to 3 different companies - John was at our house providing a quote before the other two companies even called me back.

I have to admit that, initially, I was a bit skeptical about all the 10 star reviews and the great price JMT quoted us (30% lower than the competition). After receiving some solid references from a handful of John's past customers we decided to hire JMT.

What a great decision. John and his crew were awesome - his guys were polite, quiet (no tunes blasting) and extremely hard working. They finished the entire job, including a thorough clean up in 2 days. The gutter team was just as efficient, finishing up in 1 day. JMT was very professional in how they managed the job, offered great value, and provided a high level of workmanship.
