JMT recently replaced my roof, skylights and gutters. John quote was competitive. His crews are efficient, hardworking, co-operated and quality work. They kept the site tidy, safe and cleaned up all the mess every day when job finished. John dropped by everyday to support the crews and help out wherever he could. The gutters crews re-design the gutters. Now my roof has a new look with good matching colour skylights and gutters. John and his crews well done for their jobs and they can be trusted.

I started the dreaded task of searching for a roofing company last Sep and got 3 estimates with variable price ranges. I postponed having the work done until this summer when an accidental conversation with a work colleague lead me to JMT. Her parents ( The Hendess family) had their roof done and couldn't speak highly enough of John and his crew. I called John and he immediately came to my house and got up on the roof and had an estimate all within half an hour. What made John different from my 3 previous experiences was his friendliness and honesty and also also the fact that he did not " talk down" to me being a female. Due to such an amazing run of sunshine they were incredibly busy but John squeezed us in 1 week later. The crew of 4 including the awesome foreman "Keith" showed up promptly at 8:00am, by 4:00pm they were finished ! I have never in my life met such a polite, respectful, clean cut group of roofers and tidy? I was concerned mostly about my garden and of course clean up. Not so much as a branch was bent or broken and clean up was spotless. . The next day we had our gutters done with the same professional, expedient and tidy service that we had experienced the day before. John followed up both days with phone calls to make sure all was good. John and his crew certainly have the "old school" work ethic down to a fine art. All I can say is WOW ! We had a really horrible experience with another roofing company where he stretched a roofing job for 2 years before we finally had to take action and get another roofer. I wanted to find someone who had an excellent reputation so I looked to Homestars to get 3 separate quotes. John, who's the owner of the company, got back to me right away and discussed my situation with me and gave me some sound advice. Ultimately, we chose his company because John came across as a man of integrity. We trusted him to keep his word and do the job correctly. He's probably one of the most hard-working individuals I've had the pleasure of meeting yet he always has time to make you feel like your job is equally as importantly as any of his other ones he's working on. John came on Wednesday to assess the job and by Friday (2 days later), it was done. He was kind enough to squeeze the job in because he knew we wanted it done as soon as possible because our old roofer had partially started doing the roof and never finished. John sent a team of people led by Robert. They were punctual, efficient, polite, and cleaned up nicely after themselves after the end of each day. The roof looks fabulous! Even though John was not personally involved doing the job, he stopped by to ensure things were going well and he always followed up to let us know what was done and still needed to be done. He took the time to explain and answer all my questions patiently and honestly. Ultimately, he did stand by his word regarding the price, the time it would take to do the job, and the excellent customer service experience he provided. We're so happy that we decided to go with John and his company JMT. Thanks again to John, Robert and his crew of workers!

John Jaswal and his team replaced our roof this July. We just wanted to thank him again for the work they did. It looks much better than the old shake roof which was removed and discarded. The new skylights look great. John and his crew were friendly and efficient. Katie our almost 3 yr old granddaughter still talks about them. We have already, and will continue to pass on the name of JMT Roofing to our friends and relatives.

I was referred to John by a friend who was very happy with the roof and gutters that were replaced at his home. John was very efficient and professional. His quote was extremely competitive and his work was exceptional! His crew replaced the gutters at my residence within 8 hours. I didn't even see the crew as I had to work. JMT Roofing & Painting recently replaced our asphalt roof and gutters. We called a few places and John was the first one to respond. JMT is efficient and professional. From estimation to completion of the project, it took only within a fortnight. John is helpful and knowledgeable, answered many of our questions and provides advices throughout the process to ensure we are comfortable with our decisions. The contracts are easy to understand and there were no surprises with the final costs. The crews delivered timely and quality work. John dropped by to support the crews and help out wherever he could, e.g. buying supplies. His crews kept the site tidy and safe, they cleaned the site and checked for nails. The roof was done in a day and the gutters were completed in the following day. The roofing crew came early in the morning and left early evening. When I got home from work, all I saw was a brand new roof. The lawn was clean and undisturbed. John and JMT take pride in their work. We will consider JMT for future projects and would recommend them to friends and family.

We have a rental property in Fraser heights that was showing some signs of water leaking so we called JMT to come out and repair it. He repaired it then mentioned that the roof needs to be replaced, sure enough 6 months later there was another leak else where. so we called JMT to come and replace the whole roof. they came and did a great job on replacing the roof and also kept our tenants very happy with how clean they kept it. I had met John on a golf course 4 years ago and hired him to replace my roof and gutters in newton which he did a great job so there was no worries about the quality and fairness of the price. I highly recommend JMT! You guys rock.

I am very satisfied with the work done by John's crew in replacing the entire roof of my house. JMT Roofing & Painting recently completed 3 projects on our house:

1) They replaced the 20 year old original cedar shake roof with a new 30 year asphalt roof.
2) They replaced all the gutters with new black high quality gutters.
3) They installed a new torch on roof over the garage.

The first two projects were completed at the end of May. John was very professional and informative throughout the estimating process, and I felt comfortable with the types of products and features he was advising either for or against. The end result was a fantastic looking new roof and gutter system with the applicable features for what I wanted and the general climate type in the area I live. As well, the final cost of the roof was exactly what was estimated. There were no additional charges or surprises whatsoever.

The last project was completed this week. Prior to JMT being able to do the work on the torch on roof, I had to first have the deck removed. John arrived before noon on the day I phoned to tell him that the deck had been removed, and his crew was there the next day to do the job. Again this was done to the exact price of the estimate. John even noticed and replaced a section of gutter that had been damaged during the demolition of the old deck (not done by JMT) free of charge.

His crews worked diligently and safely, and the site was kept clean throughout the process with a thorough cleaning done at the end of each day.

It is worth mentioning that though price was not the most important factor in my choosing of a roofing contractor, JMT did end up ultimately having the most competitive pricing of the half dozen contractors that provided estimates.

I feel completely confident using JMT for future projects and would without hesitation recommends them to friends and family.
