We have done business with Schomberg Sheet Metal for years and have always had a great experience. In this case we had a failure on a 22 year old furnace late on a Sunday night, by early the next day they supplied space heaters and by Tuesday morning a new furnace was installed. It was a seamless transition, economical and work well done. Thanks much!!

Schomberg sheet metal's installation service Person was very knowledgeable. He took the time to answer any questions I had. The New furnace installation was done quickly, neatly and very efficiently.

Woke up one chilly morning to find my furnace operating. Called Schomberg and they had a technician at my home who found a plugged drain was my issue. Cleared the drain and my heat was back on! Quick and friendly service.

Guy came out. I had to pay for him to come out to diagnose the problem. Promised to get a quote as soon as businesses opened (next business day but 3 days later) at 10 am. No one called. I contacted them at 12:24 pm and was told they would get back to me “shortly” but they haven’t. Is this a rip off? I mean they come out to “diagnose” and then you pay them for coming out. Then nothing is done....

Very dissatisfied.
Our furnace stopped working on a cold March/19 day. A service technician from Schomberg Sheet Metal (local business) came out to assess the problem. He quickly determined that the heat exchanger is cracked and leaking carbon monoxide. When asked why the detector installed almost directly over the furnace was not triggered, he said that the level was likely too low to trigger an alarm. He said that his company also sells new furnaces and buying a new one would be our best option. He left the house and a few minutes later, the sales rep called us. He said that he is leaving the office in 1 hour and the decision to purchase a new furnace had to be made by then. We were somewhat suspicious with the outcome and decided to get another opinion. A repairman from a different company came out and within minutes determined that we needed a couple of small parts replaced. He returned with the parts and the furnace came back on. It only cost us $345. A week later, we received a bill from the Schomberg Sheet and Metal for $124. Since the office is not too far, we went to talk to the owner in person. The secretary took some notes and told us that the owner will call us. A week went by and we did not hear from anyone, so we went to the office again. We were told again that the owner will call us. No one did. A couple of days later, we received a letter from the Collection Bureau for the $127. We went to the office again and were told that the owner will call us. This time he did call. The conversation ended with the owner saying that they provided us with the service, everything was done according to the company protocol and we must pay the bill in full. We feel that we were totally misled and pressured by this company. They seem to care about the bottom line without providing any customer satisfaction.

I have used this company for many years. Ken called me regarding a spring special. Danny came to my home to perform the maintenance. Very through and explained to me how my unit was becoming obsolete due to the refrigerant that is being phased out.

Tom was fantastic and walked us through the in’s and outs of different products and also pointed out some things about our existing furnace that was not right. The best part was our old service man had told us this and Tom confirmed it. No one else who came into quote even mentioned it. My husband was home during the installation and there was a whole team of guys there. They were professional and extremely neat! He could not have been happier.
Our furnance is fantastic. Even the coldest rooms in our house are warm. No more sweaters for us. Thank you Tom and the whole installation team. We can hardly wait to see how the A/C works!!!
