Walkworks Hardscaping

After years of watching our sequoia tree upend more of our driveway,
thanks to BC Brick for the referral, we chose Walkworks Hardscaping to
replace the 35 year old concrete section with paving stones. The crew worked incredibly hard for several days and, although the
project took more time than all
of us expected, 'end product'
quality exceeded expectations!

Being very visible on a busy street, neighbours reacted positively too!

It was refreshing to work with the Walkworks guys on my planter wall as they gave me an estimate and they stuck to it, finished the work on time and most importantly the planter wall looks great!

Walkworks did a great job building our raised garden bed. They were helpful in determining the final design and put it all together very quickly and efficiently. Michael and Jesse did a fantastic job transforming our boring front yard into a beautifully landscaped garden. This was a large project removing all the grass, a large tree and old retaining wall. They replaced the aging stone wall with an interesting basalt bolder wall incorporating stairs into the wall leading to the garden. We have had so many compliments already. The neighbours all think it looks great and were complimentary of the clean-up each day. Michael had lots of great ideas for design, materials to be used and plants. He and his Walkworks team were on time, on budget and easy to work with. We would recommend Walkworks Hardscaping.

We recently moved to our house in Victoria which needed a considerable amount of work to be done in the front to improve "Curbside Appeal" and to remediate some steps that were a potential dangerous hazard. Michael came in having only seen photos of the situation and did an incredible job in the projected time frame of two days and was within budget. What impressed us most,apart from the quality of the job, was the wonderful "eye' he had for the aesthetics which combined with his perfectionistic approach to both the detail and the finished product itself.

The project we needed done to our brand new home, was for a garden retaining wall. From the beginning with speaking to Michael about this project, he was very helpful, and knowledgeable. He worked within our budget, and what we really appreciated was that we had a "time-crunch" and he made sure to get the job done in our time-line.
Michael and Jesse were both professional and hard-working! The crew even did a couple of little "extra" things for me!
The end result added a beautiful touch to our new home, and the garden looks amazing!

We are in the process of re-landscaping our entire yard. Where to start? On the recommendation of a brick supplier we called Michael at Wallworks Hardscaping. Not only did he return our call promptly, he came out to see what we needed and had a quote back to us the same night! The work was completed quickly, the job site was tidied up each night, and the "crew" were hardworking, fun loving, and a delight to have around! MIchael, Jesse and John love what they do - even when the paver pattern selected is their least favourite! (random)
They were very patient as we tried to figure out how to work the bricks into the area around the pond and the finished product is testament to their skills!

Thank you homestars and everyone who put a write up for Walkworks. We found a great company and I hope you will have the same experience.

We had them do a complete backyard project removing concrete and installing a retaining wall, paver patio and walkways.

One thing to note is that Michael is an excellent communicator and they went as far as emailing pictures of the job as it progressed while I was travelling - it was much appreciated.

Like others, I would highly recommend them for the quality of work.

Exceptional work, friendly and knowledgable workers, fast, efficient and very competativly priced. I would recommend these motivated entrpreneurs anytime. Our large retaining walls, rock work and stone stairway is beautiful. Thank you!!

Michael Edwards & his company, Walkworks Hardscaping, were without a doubt the high point in our move into our new home, which required major yard reshaping in order to be utilized fully. Our estimate for the job and the many changes we requested as it progressed were not ever an issue, and we would highly recommend Walkworks Hardscaping. Although they were only here for a week, we feel like we have known them forever. The end result puts DIY Network for masonry work on a comparable scale.
