Peter DiMauro's company came to put a new roof on our townhouse. He charged a high-end price for a not so high-end product. We later found out that the plywood around the chimney was disintegrating, something he failed to tell us. Sad to say, I do not recommend P.J. DiMauro.

Peter DiMauro's company came to put a new roof on our townhouse. He charged a high-end price for a not so high-end product. We later found out that the plywood around the chimney was disintegrating, something he failed to tell us. He covered it over with the low-end priced shingles. He also did not use paper on the roof. When I asked him about the job, he exploded in anger and hung up the phone on me. This man is not a professional.
MY ADVICE: Don't hire a roofer based on a family member's recommendation. And furthermore, get at least, TWO quotes before hiring anyone.
Sad to say, I do not recommend P.J. DiMauro.
