Late invoicing

They are the worst utility company for getting their monthly invoices out so late. They are the last utility bill I receive every month with the others sent out a week earlier. A real pain in the butt for budgeting since the invoice changes monthly and the date it arrives is always anyone's guess. Get it together Epcor and bill your regular customers earlier in the month without it varying all over the calendar. You are annoying!

On a limiter, can’t boil water

I asked for a payment arrangement. Was told it wouldnt happen. Just tried to split the bill in half because I started a new job. No assistance from UAP. Waiting list from social services. Even with everything unplugged the power shuts off to boil or microwave a hotdog. I asked for 3 weeks and dont expect anything for free. But what a joke! Even the 24 hour assistance is a joke too!

Terrible Customer Service

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Our power and gas was randomly off this morning so I called to investigate. Turns out Someone used my address for their service, then realized that it wasnt their address, which then cancelled my power and gas services and left my lot (house) vacant. Unfortunately without any email communication or phone calls, our power and gas is now completely shut off. Now I have to pay the fee for BOTH to be reconnected even though Epcor was the one who shut it off in the first place, WITH NO COMMUNICATION. They claim that they communicate through their bills, yet when you get an overdue bill payment, the email is sent right away. Not to forget to mention that the customer service agent tells me to stay warm at the end of our phone call. Be weary when signing up with this provider, theyll do anything to ensure you are at the wrong and that no further help can be provided.

Customer service sucks

They messed up with my bill and they have the audacityy to charge late payments, the address that was shown on my bill was the other side of a duplex which is my neighbor. And when i call about and explain whats going on why my bill was so high the lady who i talked to offered me a payment plan right away without even asking me the reason. And told me i can settle this to collection and asked her if this will affect my credit history she said no and transfer me to the collection office.

Horrible Service

DO NOT USE EPCOR.
What I used in electricity was 1/3 of what they billed me. The add on so many fees at high prices.
When talking to the billing department trying to settle my account, they tried telling me I had to rejoin services with them for them to take any action and when I told them they cannot make me use their services the representative interrupted me to give me the whole speech about how customers are free to choose their provider, blah blah blah. They would not work with me in any way to settle my account, finally I told her fine, payment was made on Monday, if you haven't received it yet that's now your issue, I tried to discuss it. The representative Sabrina interrupts, talks down to you, told me I had to rejoin to settle the account and when I said they can't make me she back pedaled over her words telling me that's not what she said, she is the least helpful person I have dealt with for a service being provided to me at an outrageous price.

Power shut off completely in winter

We got behind on our power bill. Had sent the money in online banking. They hadn't received it yet. Cut our power completely off mid January. Thank God it's not -40 but we live in the country. We have no water no heat no power we paid an extra $300 for a rush reconnection and were then told it could take 48 hours. Just disgusted with Epcor. They used to be a decent company. Not anymore

Connection the power to the property

The company called EPCOR is horrible they make me wait 11 days on my property every day for them to hook up the power ,there policy is not to work with customers By contacting the customer their policy is that you have to be there and the gates needs to be open.

Deposit

They take a deposit then they say 8-10 weeks to reimburse it
They have taken 14 weeks and all I get is excuses They don't pay interest and customer service is no more than a joke
I would never recommend to give this so called company a deposit or direct withdraw they will abuse the trust
They treat people like open wallets and overcharge for so called services

Absolutely appalling "customer service"

I've been trying to reach him for three months as my bill doubled they refused to call me back respond to emails one day on April 29 I finally got to speak to Jessica and Joanne both were quite rude would not refuse actually to answer any of my questions and Joanne had hung up on me I have to speak to her supervisor and she refused to allow me that I never did get an exclamation and now I feel like I must go to the media to have this addressed

horrible customer service

after divorce my ex asked epcor to take her name off our account and send the paperwork to me...simple request...not for these jokers. They decided they had to cut off the power to my cabin and then charge me $300 for the pleasure of sending a service guy out to perform a 5 minute flick a switch job..to return power. When I complained the first thing they said was the fact I had been paying them for 15 years as a long term customer...meant nothing too them...treat new customers just as badly as long term ones...Horrible company to deal with....
