Top Level Landscaping

Dont ever go with this company. Especially one guy named Abe. This guys really got an attitude problem. He dug our holes for the fence post and wanted $10 per hole that wasnt even 2 feet deep. I asked him if he could clean the hole a little more and he said no my machine is $50k, like what does that have to do with anything? You should be doing your job properly. He left and told us to dig it ourselves. He was supposed to go our grass but we cancelled due to this incident, and judging by the reviews, thank God I cancelled. The worst customer service, he has no respect. Please save yourself a headache and dont consider going with them.

Firstly, the guy gives me price for a lawn that is 400 sqft bigger and when I asked him why he is doing this, he said it is his price. I gave him the benefit of down and then he started the work a month late. The grading he did was incorrect and not as per city of calgary guidelines as the slope ran towards our neighbour’s and not between the two houses as it should be. Also the SOD HE BROUGHT WAS YELLOW.
When I confronted him on this he told me grading is fine and sod is exactly what he gets from supplier. In reality the sod probably sat in his yard or truck for days before he laid it out. I now spend hours water the lawn. Not to mention the money I have to repay to another contractor to redo the grading between the houses.

Please don’t go ahead with this contractor, plenty of them that can do the job right for even less the money.

I contracted them to do the fence and sod. They started the job late nearly 1 month after promised but finished the job in two days. Just before starting the job he increased his price by $500 saying the costs of the wood has gone up. Didn't have a chance to cancel at that time as I would lose the deposit.
He was quick as he stapled the vertical boards instead of screwing them. I wasn't aware of how the fence is done (I guess got mislead). His charge for gate is higher than others and he doesn't install the gate handles, now calling him and he doesn't pickup the phone.
Regarding the Sod, it dried up in his truck and when it was layed on the ground it looked so yellow; now we are spending too much money on watering the sod to bring it back to life.
Finally I feel not worth getting it done from this company.

The service was good, they were late starting but expected due to all the rain we had in june. Fence was amazingly straight. Price a little higher than expected because he adds in the linear foot of the gate as well as the $150 dlls per gate, but that was just a clarification issue. Happy with the service, I would recommend them.
