We recently had a home inspection done on a rural property which we didn't know much about. Don provided us with a lot of information and advice which we will be able to utilize when we move into our new home. Don was very friendly, informative and was able to answer all of our questions. He was also very thorough and provided us with a full report including pictures of all that we inspected. I would defiantly recommend Peace of Mind.

We had a recurring issue with rainfall coming into our front living room area for about 10-11yrs. We had gone to numerous roofing companys and other contractors but NOONE was able to either fix or pin point the issue until Don came around..he inspected, took pics, showed us where the issue was stemming from and came back and fixed it for us!! Not only that but he recommended a stellar company to come fix the dry wall damages inside too!! We highly recommend Peace of mind! We required a home inspection on a rural property complete with septic and well - a scary process for both my husband and I based on a previous negative experience with an inspection provided to us on a previous house purchase. We wanted to make sure we secured someone who was more competent and provided a better service this time. Don was a blessing for us! He replied back immediately after receiving my email - was quite accommodating with scheduling - put my mind at ease immediately answering questions that I had surrounding what to expect from his services. He was punctual - personable and very thorough with his inspection. He explained his findings complete with required repairs in layman's terms as we followed him around room to room. He then reviewed his itemized findings complete with pics at the site prior to us leaving to ensure we understood everything complete with required repairs. He placed all pics on a CD for us and emailed a copy of his report the same day and hand delivered a CD with pics the next day wearing a Santa Claus Hat! He certainly went way over and above our expectations! As it turns out the house wasn't quite as perfect as we thought it was - he had a nice way of removing our rose colored glasses but put our minds at ease at the same time - with his unique personality. We feel we now have the facts to proceed with our decision making on this house. Would highly recommend his services!

Don helped us inspect a 50 year home that we thought was well-built. We were told by our referral source that Don has turned numerous buyers away from potential hellish purchasers, so going into the inspection with Don was both reassuring and scary (because we have already fallen in love with the house). Don was on time, thorough, and funny while educational at the same time. He also gave us tidbits and tips on maintenance of the home, and seems to know both the best trades in the area. Don did a home inspection for me in Whitby. He was very thorough and having him take you around and show you all the aspects of the home was very helpful.
