Roto Rooter Plumbing and Drain Services

We used Roto Rooter for emergency sewer backup. Although they arrived on time and completed the work the service guy was a bit difficult to work with. His battery died on the inspection and I was still charged for it, the entire job was too expensive in my opinion.

We used roto rooter for emergency plumbing work to repair a burst pipe in our basement. Although they were responsive and completed the work quickly they were quite expensive. The time required to repair the problem in the work order that was required to be signed in advance was significantly higher what was actually required.

Roto Rooter came and augured the pipe out. The guy determined that there was a build up of hair fat and lint in this 60 year old house's pipes and cleaned them out. Excellent job. I'm not sure if I'd pay that again, I might try to get my own auger next time for that amount of money but these guys are very professional.

We had Rot Rooter come into our house to unclog our toilet. We have been in our house for five years and we had been having some issues with the flushing of the toilet. They came in and stuck their equipment down our toilet and took care of the problem. We were very satisfied with the outcome and haven't really had a problem since.

Called Roto Rooter because I was familiar with their name from ads.

Bottom line is RR came to my home and through an accident by their technician cause water to escape from my kitchen sink. The water ended up going through my cabinets and onto my developed basement ceiling.

I had talked to one person that came to my house to see the water damage and they told me that RR is a reputable company and would help make things right. I expected the best.

I have now spend months and countless hours fighting with insurance (RR management refused to deal with me?) and the BBB. RR hides behind their insurance company and the fine print on the back of their work order (that you must sign when job is done) saying they are not liable for any damage.

Bottom line, I am left with $2400 worth of water damage to my basement ceiling with RR saying to basically go stuff yourself. What kind of corporate responsibility is that. Their brand is damaged for life to me and my family. I could not in good faith recommend them to anyone. If I was need another plumber I would find someone else..

On a Sunday morning we discovered a sewage back up in our basement, coming through the drain pipe in the floor by the washing machine. This company came on a Sunday--yes we paid more than a
business day, but it was worth it, as after calling a few others, this was the only one who were open, came promptly and had efficient staffing to do the job. It was a big job--we could have never found it ourselves, as he went through another drain in the basement wall, out to the street. It turned out, the drain we--personally would have thought to o through, was cemented over by previous home owners. I would highly recommend them!!
