This was a prepaid service for spring lawn care. The owner/operator, Greg, did not show up, nor did he call to inform us. After several attempts, we tracked him down and he said he was too busy and would come for for a fall lawn clean up instead. A date was set, and once again he didn't show up or call. He blamed his lack of accountability and repeat no-shows and no-cares on Deals Gone Social. It's not up to the consumer to bear the brunt of the business decisions of MGS. Also, Deals Gone Social PAID him for the amount we paid in February. However, this is beside the point: Would you expect a retailer to cancel your gift card because their business partner defaulted on a payment? Suffice to say he chose to dishonour his business commitments from February 12 and not inform people either. We've lost the money we paid, and were essentially defrauded by Greg. .
