I am moving and he terrible customer service person who said they are the manager, gave me two options. 1 pay out contract of more then $900 and and simply re sign a new contract once in my new house lol. Option 2. continue to pay for four months while I don't have a house then pay more then $300 to reinstall. I said I am a paying customer and these are not good options for me. I would like to continue paying monthly even though I won't have a house but I don't think it's fair to charge me to reinstall when I am a paying customer for a service you provide. She told me she is the manager and their is no one to help me and nothing I can do. I laughed and hung up the phone. I ant wait to never have to deal with these terrible people again.

I'm so sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the service you have received from United Alarm. When a new client signs up with our company, we sign them on a contract term instead of charging up front for the cost of equipment and labour. We function similar to how a cell phone company would operate; if you want to upgrade or change your cell phone but have only completed a small portion of your contract, you would be required to pay more up front for it.United Alarm offers top-of-the-line equipment at the lowest price possible. There are some alarm companies the offer free equipment moves, however these companies charge double our monthly rate to include these services. United Alarm chooses not to inflate rates to cover the chance that a client may move within their contract term, because the vast majority of our clientele remain in their original residence for many years.
