Just In Time Furnace

HWT not installed to code. Can leak carbon monoxide. Company ignoring our calls, messages, emails.

After Just in Time cleaned our ducts, six months ago, they didnt clean the filters and just left them next to the furnace. I just called them and they said that thats for us to clean, but the problem is they should have told us that at the time. This has resulted in us, breathing in dusty air for the last six months and gotten sick a few times. In January I got the worst flu Ive ever had.
They barely apologized for this. Not happy with this company.

Just in Time serviced our furnaces for years. Recently we switched companies and we were appalled to learn of very high pricing and about their total lack of customer care. Five years ago Just in Time replaced the inducer motor and charged us $625. We just replaced the inducer motor again (after only five years) and a different company did the same work and charged us $375 plus then gave us an additional 10% off for being a repeat client. I tried phoning several times (15+) and left several messages for Justin to contact me. I eventually did get his direct line but never answered his phone no matter what time of day I tried. I was just hoping he could explain the huge price difference and help me understand why it was more expensive five years ago?? I would not recommend using this company.

The service crew were absolutely filthy. I had to mop every floor, spot clean footprints from carpets and move back furniture. The arrogance of the crew wandering was beyond belief. No explanation of work, task or outcome! They just wandered about the house as though it was their empire and snooped through closets and private areas. Furthermore, their pricing system is bizarre and not comparable. Do NOT use this company.

called Just in Time Furnace because my furnace wouldn't start. I had already determined that the problem was the igniter and told the person on the phone that. I had already removed the bad igniter myself. I was told it would be just under $100 for the service call and a min of $100 even if I don't want the work done after the tech comes out and I get a quote. So basically, $200 for doing nothing if I don't accept the quote. No problem I thought. How much could it be to replace a 40 dollar igniter, a 10 min job. Well, the tech gets here and quotes me $350, including the service call fee. That's right, he charged me $250 for a 40 dollar part that took 10 min to install. Remember I had already diagnosed the problem and removed the old part. He agreed the minute he saw the old part that I was correct and just replaced it. I find this kind of price gouging to be completely unethical and disgraceful and I want people to be fore warned before calling these people.

We highly recommend Just in Time. Darcy & Norm quickly and efficiently cleaned our furnace and vents of several years accumulation. Darcy explained everything as he went along which we appreciated. Very reasonable too. Great to do business with honest trades people. We will definitely call them again when we need their services.

Dennis the Furnace technician was very thorough and informative, detailing all his findings (condition of all components), identified one component that may need replacing in the future and estimated cost but not pushing to get it repaired immediately. I appreciated his knowledge and explanations and honesty. Thoroughly recommended (note this service was performed 7 months ago, I’m just slow at writing review.
