Santos Water Service &Drain

I have used mr. Santos for three plumbing jobs in the last 2 years, from simple faucet problems to a major drain blockage. He was very helpful over the phone, answered all my questions and came very quickly to look at the problem. He was professional, punctual and very reasonable on his rates. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

Santos talked up the job to be a lot more difficult than it actually was. A U-bend sewage pipe was replaced with a straight pipe: it required some digging but all-in-all, it was a very straightforward job.

The work took just four hours, for which he charged $1,469.

Igor, the workman, spoke English very poorly and so communicating with him was difficult. When I questioned him on one aspect of the job, he threw down his tools and shouted at me for daring to question him. It was like witnessing a five-year-old having a tantrum.

Part of the job was to examine the pipes with a camera. It was only on my insistence that Santos finally appeared with the equipment. He then made me feel as if he was doing me a great favour in performing the examination. He kept hurrying me along because the camera was required on another job, despite the cost of this work being included in the original quote.

Although the work was completed satisfactorily, in my opinion, it was overpriced. I would not recommend this company: shop around for more reasonable rates instead.

Loved the crew and Santos, great people.had a sewers back up a few months ago, I called Santos and he came the next day to evaluate the situation.He and his son unpluged the drains which where full of roots. They told me that it was only for the time being and that I needed major drain replacement. they came a few weeks later and did such a great job. very polite, very professional. will not hesitate to call him back. He even replaced a faulty shower head for me without payment.

Santos is a total pro. He came on time, took the time to show and explain the situation and come up with a solution. I highly recommend him and his crew.

Had a major flood at the beginning of June and then a few weeks later minor flooding started, we called Santos and he come the same day to do the inspection. The inspection was very fast and accurate he showed us the problem and marked the area (Front lawn) where the clog was. We asked when a crew would be available to come and fix the problem, the crew was here the next day and they were also a few minutes early. They were fast and efficient, polite and respectful, willing to answer all out questions and explained how to prevent further problems. Our problem is both on our property and the city’s property so the crew members explained how to get the city to fix the problem. I am a first time home owner and have never had to deal with contractors, plumbers, etc. Santos and crew made this problem painless for us and provided a speedy resolution at a reasonable price, I would recommend them to anyone and would like to say thank you for your excellent customer service, and that we will continue to use them in the future as needed.

Had major water blockage. Price was very reasonable compared to others. Would recommend them without hesitation, great workmanship, cleanliness, and courteous.

Santos did excellent work, they showed up on time and did the job quickly and the price was very reasonable. They figured out the problem very quickly, I had several other plumbers assess the situation and they couldn't find the solution. I will definitely call Santos the next time I need a plumber.

Back in Feb. '13, Santos and son came to my home in the very early morning hours and during a snow storm. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to resolve the situation at the time...as it was a complete main sewer collapse! Shortly thereafter, Santos installed a Back Flow Preventor/Clean Out in order to avoid any future floods. I was so happy with the work, that they also replace a basement floor drain. As a testament to their integrity, I reviewed the possibility of having a laundry area reworked and was advised...not to do it because of the limited benefit and cost. Now that's a company I can trust! Many thanks for your support and guidance during a challenging time.
