Great Lakes Tree Service

We have used 2 of the big name tree services in the past as well as a small individual arborist but Great Lakes was by far the best. The owner Andy came out to do the estimate and also comes with the crew to do the work. What a difference to experience a company that has all the proper equipment and staff along with outstanding professionalism, skill and care. Andy operates his boom truck like an artist

At first it seemed like they may have forgotten about us because it took a couple of months after the estimate before an appointment was even booked. They did not forget and it was worth the wait!

I would go so far to say that if you need work done, don't even waste time with a quote, just call and book them, however they probably need to come out just so they know what work is involved. The amount they charge is well within reason and most likely the best price you will get anywhere for a comparable service, that is if you were lucky enough to even find a comparable service. I will be calling them for yearly maintenance from now on.

Great Lakes did a superb job of removing a large dead 70 foot ash tree from my backyard in a very efficient and careful manner. There was very little noise and my property was left in pristine condition. Logs and branches were removed and the site was kept very clean at all times. Andy and his crew work with precision and with great respect to the homeowner and neighbours. He has his own knuckle boom truck and all the equipment. I would highly recommend his company.

They were able to come earlier than estimated, did their job very conscientiously, helped with some issues that were beyond what was agreed, gave some good recommendations about another sick tree, cleaned up thoroughly. The price turned out to be very fair. I will definitely use them again if needed.
